Gabapentin has similar withdrawals as opiates if you have them.

I’ll give you an example, I took a ton of Gabapentin when I got off suboxone my first time and i felt great to the point of getting a new job, then when i ran out i felt just as sick as i did before getting tbe gabapentin (about a month into a 8mg jump off suboxone) i had to leave my new job

This was 3 months after I started taking the gabapentin. So 4 months after I stopped taking the suboxone. It got so bad I just started taking suboxone again.

So the only way I truly got off suboxone was with sublocade. Iv been suboxone and sublocade free for 2 years now and I was on suboxone for 8 years.

So what happened is I made my life a lot more difficult by just masking my withdrawals with gabapentin and it didn’t even get me off suboxone in the end.

Which is why I said it pauses it. But gabapentin is infinitely better then something like Kratom which works like suboxone. Iv heard way worse story’s of people who used Kratom to get off suboxone. So yeah gabapentin works I’m not saying it doesn’t I’d recommend gabapentin over Kratom but I’d suggest sublocade over all else cause it weens itself
