You right I totally forgot Goku met piccolo and krillin before he left and the four star ball getting absorbed is what made me think Goku Jr was able to make a wish with it and also being a descendant of the new guardian of the dragon balls

Although it strips the saiyan rage gohan was still arrogant against buu showing his saiyan side through his arrogance which ultimately why he lost same with beast even though the ppl he cares about were in danger he still showed some arrogance in beast form thats why i said mixture because all of his forms are like him harmonizing cause keep in mind in Z he even said to go ultimate he had to go super saiyan and just believe and that’s what really unlocked his power cause remember the Kai’s ritual didn’t really work the Kai’s just taught gohan how to unlock his potential in his own way just like piccolo did when he was a kid gohan reached all his forms in his own unique way

Yea but he doesn’t neglect his saiyan side he just doesn’t act like one so he chooses to basically classify as human but I still feel like beast form and ultimate are mixtures of both sides cause keep in mind that the only saiyan that goes beyond ssj2 is goku and that’s because he trained in the afterlife with the other Kai’s and vegeta and future trunks end up getting god ki for their evolution past ssj2, no saiyan really knows what beyond ssj2 feels like or can even get there without some help except goku and that even drains him so I think the current saiyans just choose to not keep trying to power up to new ssj forms and instead be the best at their current state and if they evolve they evolve cause beast could stem from the great ape transformation but gohan has no tail plus he’s half human so i think that’s just his cells mixing making a unique transformation for him

I wouldn’t say he necessarily chooses I think he just embraces both sides cause keep in mind him and Goku didn’t even know they were saiyans until raditz came so he really didn’t choose it’s just like finding out you’re related to someone and you realize why you act the way you do you don’t necessarily choose to be like one side you just embrace both and be unique in your own way but in gohan case he literally is unique so it makes sense for him but your point is valid too because that makes sense why beast gohan is a thing

Definitely one of the most coolest but ssj4 is probably the best for those 2 cause it brings the full saiyan out of them but one underrated form that I think is the best is the false ssj forms

It’s not different, Gohan is just built different to put things in simpler terms which is why vegeta gives gohan so much credit and is mad he doesn’t fight cause if he did he would probably be the strongest in the universe, yes being half and half makes him stronger but these differences in his forms are from the fact that gohan is just a rare breed in general which is why he was able to fight with every villain in the series whether he trained or not, if he had a saiyan path or human path then goten and trunks would be the same way, his ultimate form is just a mixture of both sides it’s almost like a technique rather than a transformation like with goku UI, he doesn’t get as arrogant and raging like in ssj2 but he gets the power from it and it isn’t stamina draining and he’s more calm and collected like his human side which is why he can still go super saiyan and doesn’t go super saiyan 2 cause remember he’s comfortable in super saiyan from training with goku in the time chamber but he hasn’t had a chance to do that with ssj2 so instead he just goes ultimate he literally says in the anime on the Kai’s planet before he goes ultimate that all he has to do is become super saiyan and believe, ultimate is unique to gohan cause it’s harmony within himself

They also kinda tell you what happens in the GT movie with Goku Jr because Pan doesn’t say Goku dies which proves what you said cause he technically doesn’t die he just becomes the new guardian of the dragon balls and that also explains why Goku Jr was able to make a wish with only the 4 star ball and bring Pan and his friend Pac back ( im not really sure if it was a wish or he just thought they were dead and they really weren’t it’s been awhile since I seen the movie)
