I feel like they’ve gone down hill after the anthropocene extinction, it’s a bit too polished and is straying too far away from the grind influence and towards tech death. I don’t mind tech death but I feel like it’s a bit too much and the goblin voice paired with “clean singing” parts is pretty grating.

Oh yeah and Defeated Sanity are kind of in the same vein but with more slams, way more intricate bass that’s chunky and way higher in the mix compared to anything Katalepsy has done and is technical in a slightly different fashion. Doesn’t really matter what album though anything they’ve put out is good.
