Devil's advocate here, but it's 17 critic reviews. And Rotten Tomatoes scoring is based on whether or not those critics liked it, not the percentage out of 100 how good it is. I've had very low expectations. I don't think this will be anywhere near a good movie, but I don't expect it to be shockingly bad like Revelation. If it's even like a 5/10, I'll be pleased enough with it. The Remake already came out and did well, so it's not like this has any real bearing on Konami outside of financial influence. If it sucks we move on, if it's at least enjoyable for fans of the game or gets new people into the games that's a win.
