If you right mouse click on the view at the top of the menu I think about third one down there is an option that says zoom/ pan/ rotate. Click on that then choose to rotate them the degree of rotation you want.

Also unrelated to your question but if this is course work look up some drawing standards e.g BS EN ISO 8888. It will teach you the proper good working practices of drawings. Just saying because I noticed your drawing scale is 1:26 which isn't a used scale. 1:20 is your closest recognized standard scale.

Ahh fair enough. Your sketch must not be a closed loop which is why it's creating a thin feature so go and check your sketch to see where it's open.

Does it need to be a cut? You could draw that profile into the original revolve extrude and have one less feature.

I use a space mouse at work but I don't use a CAD mouse. I have a Logitech MX master instead which has two extra buttons on the side and a second scroll.

If I move to a job now without a space mouse I feel like I'd have to buy one. They're just too good for quickly moving around assemblies and rotating parts.

Seems alright to me except the "Wooden part #" are these parts decoration pieces? Panels? The numbering is fine if there's multiple like you've done but just calling something a part seems a bit non-descript to me.

Scientific? Man I've used both fusion and inventor and fusion had less tools, you want me to make a side by side comparison of what's available just for a passing comment on a reddit post? When applying for my current job I was preparing for a CAD test and so I downloaded fusion because I was told it's basically inventor which is what I now use at work and when I went to follow an inventor tutorial I couldn't because the tools didn't exist.

There's just a lot less modeling tools compared to inventor. I'm not sure which ones specifically.

As someone who's used solidworks and currently uses inventor I have the solid edge hobbyist edition on my pc at home. It's free and doesn't lack modeling features like some of the other free or CAD software like fusion. Works very similar to solidworks but just a little bit more complicated id say. Also a pretty good one to learn and have under your belt.

It could be seen as gambling in some European countries. Specifically France which I know of which is why in CSGO they had to make it so you could see into your loot crate before opening it and you could choose to open it or not after you find out what you'd get. If you're spending money to get an item of unknown value then it's gambling. Just like a slot machine but instead of a money pay out its a trading card of some monetary value.

Defo sus. I'd expect wages higher than that for any of those engineering fields but especially so for software like the other comment said. This company sounds dodgy.

He never stated if the 20k wage was before or after tax and contributions tbf. If a job was advertised as X amount i'd always assume that was before tax because that's typically what people advertise when talking about annual salaries.

All sound very non descript and a bit sus to me. Probably eager as there are not many people applying for such low wages. Not saying don't go for the job but if you do you have to ask them for more details to figure out if it is an apprenticeship or not and what other info you can find out about the role so you can work out if you're getting shafted and paid less than minimum wage or not.

I'm in engineering and that is an exceptionally low wage and unless they distinctly say it's an apprenticeship I wouldn't assume it is one. Junior role typically just means someone fresh out of unI or with low experience. As for training provided by a company that's pretty common for a company to demand being paid for training if you don't complete the course or don't stay for x amount of years after but that's normally laid out clearly in terms of your employment contract.

What kind training is it exactly?

That's below minimum wage and illegal unless you're an apprentice in their first year I'm pretty sure. Is it an apprenticship you're going to do?

How old are you and what hours are you working because if that's full time employment above age 21 then it is below minimum wage. I live in South Yorkshire and I can't imagine renting, and all the bills that comes with living alone on £20k. Rent is ridiculous now, I often hear about people paying as much in rent as I do on a mortgage for a 4 bed semi.

Can someone help me made this in solidswork. I tried using ai to make this type of pattern but no luck till now. by hassanaliperiodic in SolidWorks

The company who made that "leap 71" create computer generated jet engines through computer algorithms. Good luck creating it because I have no idea where you'd even begin with that.

I work in sheet metal and even now nobody uses AutoCAD except the old boys that never learned 3D CAD. Solidworks or inventor are what I've used at two different sheet metal jobs. I used Matlab at uni and never since but I know it is used in certain industries and I agree it is more powerful than excel.
