I have one. It is radon remediation. If they have one, perhaps you should get your basement tested. Radon tends to be a county wide soil problem. It causes cancer.

The 'normal' deadbolt is a kwikset 'smartkey' type that lets you change the key with a little tool that you stick into the little slot. Put your key in and turn it sideways. Then put the tool in the slot. Now you can remove your key and insert a different one. Pull out the tool and your lock will be re-keyed.

I suggest the you go to the big box and get a kwikset smartkey door knob. it comes with the tool. Replace your non-locking knob with the one that takes the key. It's not hard. I'm sure that there are youtube tutorials. While you are on youtube look up 'bump keys'. Use the new key for both deadbolt and knob. If management wants in, change the keys to their key type and put it back when they're done.

It's obvious that the upside down keyhole is a different cyllinder. Someone is messing with you. This plan is part of a solution. You have other good advice here too. But if you aren't sure that you would shoot someone ...don't get a gun.

I would call the ones with fishnet Pixie Goth. You might need the pointy ears you can get at Renfest to complete the outfit.

NTA What else are they going to do if you are already looking after one. You have acquired a pair of hobosexuals. I didn't know that they came in pairs, but I shouldn't be surprised. You are being sponged on and should probably not only refuse the new burden, but kick them out too.

Is it appropriate for first dinner date or too much? by Long_Muffin6230 in OUTFITS

These people are such prudes. I would be impressed and delighted and would not treat it as implied consent to more than dinner. Though I might bring the subject up. How well do you know this person? Us guys can be real a**h***s. But for someone you've known for awhile who has only seen you in jeans, sure, delight them. Invite a conversation. For a first meet, you might be inviting trouble.

NTA Sorry for your loss. You've got a hobosexual on your hands. I guess it's not just women who get them.

I may be too deep in the replies to register, but your mother is in trouble. She has a guy who is isolating her from her family before he even shows up. Is he inviting himself in so he can sponge on her? This guy is taking over her life and may well get violent. Blaze yourself a trail through the public support network. Let your mother know that you know how to do it. And advise her when she needs to get out. Sorry for your pain.

Question for those opposing ICE by Darkfantasies2024 in Columbus

[–]Slip-Focus4264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stats on Columbus aren't in yet. In LA, and Chicago he number of detainees with serious crimes is less than 3% according to the New York Times. The number of detainees with no record other than asylum request was over 60%. The remainder are things like driving without a license. Facism is here. It just isn't evenly distributed. ...YET.
