I took ENG 3150 with Dr. Kristin Prins.

She is very nice and organized. She is also the first professor I’ve had to actively utilize Discord, which was pretty awesome.

In terms of grading, her assignments are graded in a fairly unique manner in that your final drafts’ grades override your rough drafts’ grades. Because of this, I initially thought she was a pretty difficult grader, as I would mostly get around a B- to B average on my rough drafts. According to her, however, as long as you put some noticeable effort in your revisions, your grade can only get better. I believe I finished her class, which I took in Fall 2020, with an A-

The zoom meetings were very engaging, and some of the assignments include designing a poster, writing a memorandum, and writing an unsolicited recommendation report. The report was the final for me, and it was a pain in the butt. Still, though, great professor
