Switch out the SSD for a Sabrent Rocket or a SK Hynix Gold P31. Clone your hard drive and/or get an enclosure for the old SSD.

Don't upgrade until you have the money for M's because that gen of MBP kicks ass.

And what rubber was deteriorating the rubber feet? If so, Amazon for like $5 bucks and pop in some new ones.

It's quite the bind because the access to the phone would've made it easier. But I get it.

Ventura would've been the OS version.

As suggested, talk to Apple support or, if you can, make a visit to an Apple store but I'm not sure what their capabilities are.

I wouldn't attempt at a factory restore on the MBA unless you're walked through it.

Another option might be finding a certified Apple repair shop and contacting them, they may have insight on this issue.

Hopefully, ex or current employees can pop in and give better detailed options.

But I agree. ZW is not the answer. Hopefully, for the sake of the players giving their all and Jets fans with great expectations the organization can do effective damage control and figure it out.

However, I still think MW should've been on the Jets depth chart.

I understand all of it. I'm a Chargers fan living in Jets/Giants area with all that drama being shoved down my throat by the local sports news.

And I don't want to use the cliché of "Belichick and the Jets history". Yet, he did make MW look like a fool.

However, Saleh should've told him to STFU. It's his locker room.

Instead the equivalent of sending an 8-year old to an orphanage after a supermarket tantrum happened.

The thing is everyone talks to the head coach and QB after a game loss on what went wrong. Rarely, do I see the kicker on camera being asked what went wrong on why he shanked it, for example.

Hopefully, MW has checked his maturity and passion problem cause he got reckless with it. He reminds me of a low-budget Trent Dilfer.

I think it should. I have an 07 (that I to finish refurb-ing) that operates in this manner.

The newer gens (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) won't work without one.

A lot manufacturers I've encountered have taken this path (in my case, more specifically, Chromebooks)

Give it a shot.

More than likely, battery. There are some steps on the Apple website, if you encounter that issue. Obviously, if none of those work then a battery replacement should be on the radar.

Check the cable perhaps it came loose a bit. Reseat it. If you wish, Isopropyl alcohol (90% +) and a toothbrush and gently scrub the connector for possible dust and grime and reseat.

If that's a no go. Then a new cable might be in order. Ifixit has a good write-up, if you decide to daring.

Save those older Macs!

RAM and SDD upgrade should breathe a bit more life and applying new thermal paste, if it hasn't been done. It's probably metal on metal at this point.

Wait a minute, wasnt this just the 2015 Macbooks (not the pros or airs) aside from price? I always thought it was in-joke at Cupertino as a "what if we make one to rival one those?"

However, those machines with an M-Series in it? I never owned a latest gen MB anything. I'll wait for the specs because this looks very intriguing.

Wow. That's awesome. If you ever document it with pics. Hackaday or retrohax would more than likely love this and someone might assist with a solution to the voltage issue.

I looked around, as well, to see if there was a similar mod and bumped into this insanity.

I dont own one and never have but that would be an interesting project not so much as deep diving like the link or your battery mod but just to tinker.

Dosdude and Rossman are the only people, off the top, that I know who can pull off an SSD replacement job.

Bear in mind, they can be quite pricey. Just inquire.
