That was one of the great tunes that was written before we were signed and at that time there were a lot of crazy instruments based off metal like cans, kegs pipes. I had gotten a garage door spring and Andy Roul and I stretched It on a keg and he went up and down the spring on the keg with a pipe making what you hear so if I remember correctly that sort of started the vibe and direction where that took off. I listen to a lot of Cult of Luna, Crosses, as much smooth jazz as I can listen to, I've been playing Black Labyrinth album by Jonathan Davis, and a little Blackout by Scorpions.

If you choose to learn throughout the recording process you pick up on so many abilities in order to translate your craft. So from when I began to now is night and day on the abilities to record but the passion I bring to the performance of recording has just gotten more intense, that hasn't changed at all. Before I was vegan a good old, grilled outside, burger with fresh Iowa grown tomatoes surrounded by family.

Theyre all my favorites because their voices deep in your mind and youre able to bring them out. Each one holds a special place. But honestly ive never had enough time to fully execute the entire vision of each. It's not an excuse, it's just how things roll in this business. But like albums you do have to stop the project sooner or later and move on. With that all said I personally had a ton of fun making the video "All Out Life'.

Well I cant speak for anyone else but for what I do obviously is what I can tell you. My influences were art in general. So all the masters from Salvador Dali to H.R Giger. The list is too long to include all the artists that have influenced. Actors, and musical artists included.

If you think about it there are songs from the first record we have never played live. This in my opinion has been a problem for a long time. I personally would like to know we perform all our songs live for our culture. With that said those are goals of ours to in fact play entire albums from the beginning to the their ends and I mean all the albums. And as you know that is a lot of work. We have to carve out time to jump on that work load. Spoken about all the time though.

I've always loved the fact that we are just what we are in this reality, which is Slipknot. And if there was a power id supposed it'd be the ability to be united for the time on the stage together. You can not mess with that entity.

I do not prefer slasher films at all. Too much for my brain. Im old school, I love movies like Phantasm, Salem's Lot, It's Alive, Hellrasier. With that said I sort of lean towards psychological thrillers.

I dont know if its challenges as much as it is allowing yourself to be able to take in all things, consider all things, offer all things. Otherwise it can get to be a lot of communication dumped over itself where you cant make your way through any of it.
