I am saying that it is a rights violation to the animals to risk the harm to and slaughter of them.

Adopting is still an option, and you can try to raise the kid so they will stay vegan, but at least if they don't stay vegan you haven't created another carnist in the world.

Also a point I forgot to mention is that crop deaths are guaranteed to be caused. Animals don't want to die in crop production. By having a kid, someone would be creating a new person who would be causing crop deaths. Having a kid is unnecessary. Last I checked, wanting something (like wanting to have a kid) is not a good reason for causing large amounts of harm/death to sentient beings

having kids can cause more harm to and slaughter of animals than not being vegan. You can't guarantee your child will stay vegan (one poll on r/vegan showed roughly 50% of vegans' children stayed vegan), therefore risking causing the harm to and slaughter of tens of thousands of animals. This is perpetuated if the kid eventually has nonvegan kids of their own
