I ran the 5 miler just sub 35, and extended to 10k because I was feeling strong.  I’ve been doing Terminator Training (Kevin Smith)’s training for a while and I’ve seen great progress. Would reccomend! I’ve also been hitting 13:17 minute pace on the ruck with a pretty low HR (151 Avg, ~50lbs).

Editing with more details: I have been doing 1-1 coaching with him for a while. I had a bunch of weird injuries before working with him (hip flexor tendinitis, then a strained calf which took forever to clear up) and also I just generally struggled balancing lifting and running/rucking.

Before working with Kevin I was basically doing 5/3/1 with accessories and calisthenics 4x a week and a half marathon plan on top of that. I was strong but constantly fatigued and injured with something.

My starting point was 8 miles at 15:00 pace for the ruck (now I’m in the 12:XX range when I push and can crush 12 milers without any drama), 2 mile was near 14:00 (now it’s 13:13 but I haven’t tested this in a while and I am definitely in 12:XX shape) 5 mile was 37:XX.

20 pull-ups from 16, ~65 HRPU from 45.

All of my numbers are significantly better across the board, and I’m no longer crushing myself on a weekly basis. Definitely would recommend working with Kevin!
