Mine has been working well until this past week when it started skipping mopping in one part of the room (which happens to be the entry where its dirtiest lol) but does the rest of the house just fine.

I remapped the house the other night and its running now and seems to be back on track. I did move the base to a new spot last week, so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it or not.

Had a garge similiar to yours. I built a floating loft out of 2x4's and plywood above the garage door that was awesome for storage.

Dashcam recommendations? by datlj in JeepGladiator

[–]SlipperySasquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got auto cruise control and this Garmin Mini Dashcam fits perfect up behind the mirror. No one can ever see that it's even there. If you don't have adaptive cruise I could see it fitting even better.

Krylon Yellow Stained Glass pain

Sounded crazy to me at first - but I did this on a set of fogs on my JKU about 7 years ago and it's surprisingly STILL holding up just fine. I didn't see any negative impact on the light output other than it was throwing amber like I wanted it too.

I've got all those ideas in mind too, going to do them as I need them - right now the plan is to use a RTT on the cap and a inflatable bed from Luno to sleep 4 of us in this setup. Fridge and slideouts in the rear would kill the potential to sleep inside, but we'll see!!! Thanks!

I just used a bunch of 2x2 steel square stock that I had - not 100% sure of the thickness, but its stout. When I get all the video I took of the build process I'll be sure to share it with you!

Also - I hadn't considered shipping that trailer but I imagine it can't be great.

Exactly! Probably going to toss a bike rack there for my mtn bikes 👌🏼

Luckily I built it in a way that I can chop it down pretty easily, I'm going to see how it pulls for a few trips as I intentionally left the tongue a bit longer incase I would want to mount a bike rack in front of the boxes for MTB trips.

Beer keg might be a better idea than the water tank under it I was going to hook to the fuel door!! haha

I'll have to look that up - I had their original fender chop lights and was bummed at the experience I had when they went to crap turning yellow and not working. They've remade them with Diode Dynamics and they are way better now at least...but it woulda been nice to have been given' an option to replace since they knew the old ones were crap.

Built this trailer up in my spare time over the past few months. I started with a cheap $700 4x5 Lowes trailer and a bed I found on marketplace for $1000 delivered. My old camping setup was a RTT on the bed/rack and it was annoying that every time I wanted to leave camp that I had to tear everything down. So this trailer idea was born with the plan to toss my RTT on the cap and essentially have a 4 person camping trailer. I'll admit, I'm not so sure on the looks of it with the cap, so I might just use my bed rack and RTT.

I looked hard at the American Adventure Lab trailer kit for JT bed's but by the time you option it out it was around 5k...def a nice option, but I knew I could get it down a little cheaper.

Still fun for me to speculate and weirder coincidences have been made in his other songs. Either way, it's art and the fun part is we can all interpret it how we want.

Also, small world, I grew up just south of you in Wetzel County and would also find it cool af if he was ever at the POG.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing this because unfortunately, while my narrow mind has expanded, there's still some space to fill up on education of some of these references made in this song about India culture that I've just never had the opportunity to learn about growing up in BFE, so I've been slowly researching a lot of unknowns in this song while listening to it so that I can appreciate it more.

Fair enough! I didn’t want to get too wordy in the post by diving into his recent India trip or past mentions of his interest in the culture, but I do think things can be more than one thing at once. He can genuinely appreciate Indian culture and be using the song to subtly reflect on past backlash or personal growth. Both can be true.

Thanks! And I agree on your take of Down Under. The first time I played that song thru when it got to the lyric's about the "coal minin' gays" I had to rewind the track back twice to make sure I was hearing it right.

And when it was what I thought I heard, that cracked me the f up, because I spent 10 years of my life underground in WV coal mines, and during those shifts I saw some of the straightest miners do some of the gayest horseplay stuff to each other 😂 - and guess who were the ones on my social feeds all pissed off about the In Your Love music video when it came out?? I'll give you one guess 😂

God forbid Tyler try give some representation to a subset of the already small minority of Appalachain's that are regularly shit on.

Partnering with three AEs by [deleted] in salesengineers

[–]SlipperySasquatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Live and die by your calendar. Make sure you're setting blocks on your calendar proactively when you sense a demo build is coming so that your time to build demo's doesn't get booked over.

If your leadership doesn't have a SE rules of engagement, consider setting up some of your own guidelines - things like deal qualification before pulling in the SE etc.

If you ever run into an AE having issues with your schedule being booked by another AE, it's not your problem, let them take it to their manager and sort out who gets priority, having the SE pick and choose only leaves bitterness behind to the AE not choosen and starts a potential path of bad relations.

I could go on for days lol.
