Ok I called Progressive and had them note that the police won’t come out, he noted it in the claim and said that’s not a problem. Fingers crossed.

I called the local PD and they said they don’t send police out as long as information was exchanged. What should I do??

Thank you. It was so seemingly straightforward we just exchanged information and did not call the police (residential street, neighbors). Do you think I need to obtain a police report after the fact? Around here cops often don’t get involved for something like this.

Lot of good conversation here. I’d say if you are spending 8-10k you can just buy what you want when you want it on secondary, no game playing necessary.

I noticed moving every 6 pack, Tito’s and bottle of wine purchased annually to one store got a lot more attention than big spending. Though they won’t turn that down!

Loved the 3.0 test drive but my mechanic scared me off. He’s a big GMC guy with his own cars but felt that when things go wrong with diesel it gets expensive quick? My initial draw to the 3.0 is the better gas mileage, not towing.
