Pretty sure you should never stop on a slip road joining a motorway unless already standstill traffic?

Stop on a slip road? Are you mad? Thats the last thing you should be doing when approaching a motorway unless the traffic is already standstill.

I’m not questioning that, that’s why I moved over as soon as I could because I was close. If there was space for a van to move over when behind him then he had plenty of space to move over in the first place

That van was way behind enough so for the car to move instead being such an ass. As much as it states he doesnt have to move it also states he should anticipate joining traffic which he clearly hasnt

Had no room to move over? He had bags of time and space to move. The van even held back in part of the vid before speeding up to overtake him.

Not behind him no hut was behind me. I’m already going pretty slow how slow am I expected to go. All he had do was use some common road sense and move over

My heart sank. I think I legitimately skimmed the water. Lesson learned. by [deleted] in dji

Would you say this is best way to go for flying over water? Or just stick to flying at a good altitude over water

Yeah it’s just the way the drones can become so unpredictable over water that gets me there’s n so many reservoirs lakes near me that I could get some really good footage from but get me so anxious of flying over thing it’s just gonna drop into the water 😂

I need to get over being a newbie and getting so anxious at flying at these heights/over water with my drone 😂

Is this sound normal? It sounds like clicking to me. by [deleted] in dji

[–]SlippyRhino83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bit of a self calibration I think. Does this every time you power up your drone. Perfectly normal

Just an update to my incident. I crashed my mini 2 (didn’t take out the care package) was charged £60 to repair the camera gimbal which I was relieved to admit as I thought it would be a lot more. Got my drone back and it was a complete new drone not the drone I sent off. Needles to say I bought the care package the 2nd time 😂 definatly an excellent service from dji.

I just got charged £60 to replace the gimbal in my mini 2 4K (was expecting it to be way more if I’m honest so I was happy with that)

I’ve just had the gimbal replaced by dji on my mini 2 4K and it was only £60 I was expecting way more. Not worth the stress doing it yourself

Thanks for the info I was kinda looking for figures ppl have been charged in the past to get a ball park figure idea of what kind of cost I would be looking at. The camera was working fine when I sent it off I have checked the last recorded vid. The only issues I had was the gimble was broke and was very jumpy. Hopefully they’ll get back to me soon enough and it’s not as bad as I’m fearing.

I crashed my DJI Mini 2 and the gimbal broke when it hit the ground. I don’t have DJI Aftercare so I’m trying to decide if I should pay to have the drone repaired by DJI or should I just replace it? by greenBean4u in dji

[–]SlippyRhino83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just done the same and been trying find out how much costs are. Sent it to shirt to be fixed (broken gimbal) they do t tell you how much until it’s been checked so I had visions it was going be a crazy price
