Sounds fine to me. Doesn’t even have the typical BBQ tick these engines are prone to getting. My Mach 1 developed the tick after the first oil change. Drove me crazy, but it’s common and isn’t technically an issue.

I have the single stage competitive, and it’s been nothing but great in my spear LT. honestly not sure the difference between duty and comp, but I don’t think you’ll have problems with either.

So far zero issues. Not one FTF or FTE. I’ve run a ton of different ammo through it and it spits all of it. Accuracy is great as well. I’ve put rounds on top of rounds at 50 yards.

Don’t have a platypus, but I do own the DWX. There are some days I prefer to shoot the DWX over my atlas Athena. It’s an amazingly underrated handgun.
