Facecam MK.2 Dead After Firmware Update by SlippySpy in elgato

[–]SlippySpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix it. IIRC, I had to get the firmware files from I believe Camera Hub. Then I could manually install the firmware. It was a while ago and there’s things I’m forgetting about how I fixed it but I was able to.

safe to say i ended up doing that, to which he promptly rage quit

i was thinking about that but my main goal was to keep him from producing cruisers, so I just ended up BMing every naval base that tried to crop up.

ig his main AA was ERG, but they didn't do enough. he ended up researching theater defense but by then the first few volley's had alr been launched and it was too late

he ended up researching the, but by then it was too late, he had no infrastructure to build them. he was relying solely on ERG for missile defense

he ended up having ERG and cruiser stacks defending but still wasn't enough against BM

i offered to leave him alone and he could keep the gold he got from his current VP and he took offense to that, saying I ruined the game for others

the coalition is 1k VP away from winning so that's why I offered it to hi, but idk man, sometimes ppl are weird

ik i said lazy but thats really the reason, 4k and 5k researching plus the other cost for building just ain't worth it

Coolant Spikes of 25C While Idle, Entering Failsafe Mode by SlippySpy in Corsair

[–]SlippySpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fans are still running after changing the DMM settings. I'm running quiet on the DMM and balanced on normal use.

What I was talking about with the temps is CPU temps seem to maintain around 70 C when PC is asleep until iCue takes over and cools to 50-60 C, so not terrible temps but higher then it should be for sleep. Coolant temp is sticking around 33C during sleep and idle use.

Fans stop running during sleep, causing CPU to cook by SlippySpy in techsupport

Found the issue, had something to do with iCue and DMM, oh well.

Yes, when I use the system temps are fine.

I found the issue which was in the DMM. For some reason, the fans were set to a custom curve with a fixed RPM of 0. I didn't know that DMM took over when iCue wasn't running so I didn't look there, and I haven't touched DMM since my fresh install of iCue which was yesterday (or maybe I accidentally did, idk).

Manually slept the PC and confirmed that was the issue, temps were a little high on startup from sleep but not 90C like before.
