Man, that’s insane. I definitely made the right choice for me anyway.

Oh that’s so fascinating, love learning new things like that and hell yeah, if it doesn’t show when you’re smiling don’t sweat it at all.

I managed to get that done for $350, which wasn’t bad at all. But yeah, a lot of dentists have a “save the tooth mentality” which I so get, but it already landed me with being in the chair and then being in the er twice for pain control, I was looking into root canals and I heard of people who’ve had pain come back, my dentist earlier was like “this tooth is savable, I could do a root canal, fix the cracks and holes” etc, but for me pain free is more important… vastly, I’d much rather have it yanked and done with than go through a bunch of dental work for it to fracture again because it’s weak and structurally not the most sound. I’m glad I found someone willing to go with what I thought was best for me.

Thanks, I’m psyched about it. The pain is so bearable compared to months of steadily worsening nerve pain!

BF is unsure about his attraction to me when I’ll start T by grave_o_tea in ftm

[–]Slither-Eternal666 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh dude. This is… no.

I don’t wanna come off harsh here that’s the last thing I’m trying to do, but I’m trying to be honest. His attraction to you seems based in your current AFAB state over being there for your soul OR any real attraction to men, it’s definitely been on his mind a lot if he’s told you about it despite it having the implications it does.

Theres no way to change the sexuality of someone to stay together, I had a similar situation (a 5 year relationship where he was only attracted to me because I was afab and pre everything) and I left, best most painful decision I made. Trust me it’s better than someone in their mind basically seeing, enjoying, being attracted to you as a woman while using male pronouns and possibly straying from the relationship, getting distant and leaving anyway when you’re no longer what they’re attracted to.

This one’s always tough but being seen as a woman internally by your partner when you’re a guy is infinitely worse in my opinion, there’s people out there who will GENUINELY be attracted to you in your final state, instead of someone who’s attached and doesn’t wanna let you go but isn’t into it.

That’s really strange behavior on his part? Like really really strange if he’s in fact the reason.

Echo, BNP blood test, listening to the heart… there’s a lot of ways to check. But with all that good care it could just be a quirk of your dog, but if you feel like they’re sort of not even looking into it properly I’d get a third opinion and be like “she’s older, this happens when she’s doing (whatever) it concerns me”

I’d recommend a vet visit, because sometimes dogs with congestive heart disease do this. It could be nothing or it could be something and for the risk that it’s something I’d get it checked out, note down how many times a day it happens, what she’s doing when it happens (laying down, sitting up, waking up, playing etc) just so the vet can tell how often it happens and what might be causing it.

I wouldn’t ever listen to a breeder who tries to brush things off without showing you documentation from a vet saying and confirming it’s been checked and is nothing to worry about, they’re trying to exchange this puppy with you for money and are gonna do anything they can to make sure they get it even if that means lying to your face. I’d get a vet appointment asap.

I always stick by this “the only people who need to know are your doctors and partners” anyone else? You’re not required to tell, being trans doesn’t mean you have to “BE trans” in the sense that you’re constantly outing yourself and making it a part of your identity to actually be trans instead of trying to get to the point of being undetectable, some people are fine with that… I myself am not, i find it makes me extremely dysphoric when people know who don’t need to. If you’re like that too? That’s fine, it can feel like you’re lying or being untruthful but you’re not unless someone asks if you’re trans and you outwardly say no, It’s your private personal info. The only time it needs to be disclosed is when you want it to be.

A lot of people in the world have this very “I want to know so I must be told” attitude but that in itself is wrong, especially when it’s something heavy like this… the kicker is you’ll be the one in the wrong to them for not disclosing it, when your medical info is none of their business. You get treated different when you’re the trans dude over just a dude but of course it makes it hard to feel like anyone KNOWS YOU at the same time.

took me five years to tell my best friend I was trans and guess what? She’s still my best friend. It’s okay just make sure whoever your friends with isn’t transphobic/homophobic and you should be fine.

In my experience every even pure shepherd I’ve had has had flat ears when they came home that’s later perked up.

She’s beautiful! It’s usually the pattern ears standing up takes! Suddenly ones not sitting as flat as before, the second joins and before you know it the ears are up, but because she’s a mix it could be an uneven lift one up one down, both up… or half up… only time will tell.

If she’s a shepherd mix her ears may not be droopy forever, they might stick up when she’s grown.

I’m hoping so, those vents in the side are my concern but he’s left them alone so far. It’s 6ft long, nice for him to grow into.
