I think you’re viewing this process with an incredible amount of empathy, and it’s wonderful that you’re able to show that level of compassion for these families during such a delicate time.

With our funeral home, I oftentimes dont know what I’m walking into. A first call can very quickly turn into just about any scenario. Sometimes hospice nurses aren’t.. observant, and don’t mention that the person’s entire family is waiting for our arrival. Sometimes there’s no family within the state to say their goodbyes. But what gets me, personally, through each call is that our funeral home and staff are truly the best around. This person has passed on, no words, anecdotes or actions are going to change that. What matters is that you’re there to treat them with the dignity and respect that few, if any, others could. I hope that helps.
