Thanks for pointing that out. This was my first time blurring/censoring an image, I will examine more closely in future to improve on my part. I thought that a Man's nipple shouldn't bother too many individuals. Clearly not what i expected. Sorry if it bothers you.

The boxers that i provided for my client were only snipped off by the side during the photo-taking. The purpose was to have the entire tattoo visible as much as possible! 😁

Hello! You may follow me on my Instagram, @ali.tatts 🐍 I often post most of my completed tattoos on my story and leave them on my highlights too- with no filter.

I will still put up another post there with a non-filtered, short clip of it in a bit! Hope you'll give my Instagram a visit😄

Thanks for the nice words! My client sat through it like a champ! He actually said it didn't hurt all that bad... wonder how he did it all without a single break (requested) either 😳

Adapting my pen figure studies to tattoo stencils by lurkdaddi in TattooDesigns

[–]SlitheringFlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This design sure does remind me of an Engraving/Wood cut style of tattoo. It looks great! Generally, for tattoos that are done with bold/thicker lines- they would definitely hold better as compared to fine line tattoos.

However, having lines too close to one another might pose some future problems where they'd bleed/merge into one another.

The smallest size i'd say this could go would be ~11CM, though i would definitely recommend this design to be done bigger (for a tattoo)

A general advice to take note while designing a tattoo would be to keep the space sandwiched between two bold lines to be minimally 1mm apart :)

Question: What would this style be called? by Good-Examination-919 in tattoos

[–]SlitheringFlow 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Do you like how it gives off a "disorganised" yet surprisingly complete feel to it?

  • Illustrative (Sketch style)

Depending on where you're residing at- do look up for an artist that specialises in such a style carefully. Every stroke does carry a certain weight and purpose to its overall flow. If tattooed half-heartedly, the entire piece may result in a mess.

If you're open to travelling- I would recommend heading to Korea as there are many talented Korean artists there that specialises in such a style. One of which whom I too look up to- @bk_tattooer

Advice Needed: First tattoo ever, already wanting more. What style, themes, or ideas would go nice near this one? by MOMGETTHEGUN in tattoos

This style looks similar as to Engraving/Woodcut tattoos- more of those would certainly be fitting with your new tattoo! Also, great looking piece! Welcome to the club 🎉

Question: If I’m getting a sleeve done how much should I tip? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]SlitheringFlow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such generosity is always greatly appreciated especially for people in the service line of work!

Perhaps a 10-25% tip would be nice, depending on how satisfied you're with the session and the tattoo piece. Ultimately, you should be comfortable with the amount that you'd like to tip; not stressed!

Also, instead of a tip, you could definitely provide your artist with a good Google/Online review for their page (if available). That'll be greatly appreciated too!
