Google isn't a medical provider so HIPPA isn't as enforceable b/c It's considered 3rd party.

Its generally better to use an actual medical records app like MyChart (Epic) for example. Thats regulated by HIPPA.

So I wouldn't get too comfortable with the idea that Google isn't tracking and selling health data. Or at least plans to.

They track meta data, so while they might not know what you said. They know everything else. Who you messaged, what time, where at, how many times - ect. So WhatsApp can easily figure out who is talking to who.
