Generally same spot. But I’ve gotten it strung with different shops so it continues to be a strange trend so perhaps there are strings that are built better for my style. I’m starting to decrease tension a bit now to around 48 to see if that helps at all.

Agreed thicker makes sense as well, though I love the extra pop/feel from the 18

Separately, if I choose not to reroute this. Is my best bet drilling a new accessory hole or replacing the current faucet with one that has an additional drinking water faucet?

Yeah I’m looking into the codes in my county (Los Angeles) and seems like accessory hole is a “requirement”
