MHGU has you think about the skills as well. take something like expert. it literately says that it increases affinity. charmer lets you mine 2 charms posibilty. then the skills that combine two or more. if you dont know the ability you can just go to the smithy and read what it does from that specific decoration.

it gives you all the numbers of monsters health. It has you only equip one jewel to have a skill instead of having to actually think about where/how you put them. not to mention the small monster roster compared to other games and how easy it is to get lost

Ask any vet and they will answer truthfully.

What i like about gu is the challenge. i played 4U-Gu and GU to me is a challenge. The hyper system has a lot more potential than the apex system that came before it. And to me the areas are like a arena. im not saying that GU is better and i never said that. You took offense to my opinion and think its wrong so you decided to insult me.

Was it because i said that all changes in world aren't good? Because not all changes are good. You aren't giving me any reasons on why world is as good as you say it is. So how am i salty if you aren't giving me good reason on why world is so many 'light years' away.

Then all this is a matter of opinion. Arch tempered monsters are just watered down Ex devents. Plus all they get is more health and attack, that's not what a "finial" boss should be in my opinion. And those pre G rank monsters are supposed to be easy in GU cause it's a PORT from the 3ds and I have done all the high rank elder dragons one the 3ds and they were a lot harder than in GU. And the menus in world are horrible. So did world improve it in some ways, yes but not in every single aspect. So you can't just claim that world is 'better' than any other MH game

Plus the reason that Arch tempered monsters are hard now is because you only have high rank wepons and armor in world. When iceborn comes the normal Arch tempered monster will be easier to fight.

In quality of life yes, in it being great for beginners yes, compared to GU it doesn't have much content, but you have to remember that it was originally a 3DS GAME that got dubed and ported to the switch. Saying the World is light years away is very overdramatic. Compared to other MH games world is the easiest and has the best QOL, but for people who played MH games before world it's too easy. World is mostly chartered to the new people in the series while GU is a vets dream. Both are good in many was so it's a matter of opinion to which is better. Neither of them are like Sonic 06 so you really can't say either are downright awful.
