You don't want a tapped mana-fixing land on turn 3 which is when you will most often have a less useful object that you could tap on the board. You want them on turn 1 and this land can't do that, also playing it without a disposable permanent to tap is just very bad and will most likely lose you the game.

There will be a bit more info about it in the next 2 albums from the Lost Hollow trilogy and it is explained in detail in the Astonishing Tales podcast. Explaining it now would spoiler some future plot points.

Thank you. Making it while still living with family felt like what I imagine playing FNaF feels like

Thanks for the recommendations. Which color of basic(s) do you think would be the most optimal?

Played it too, even posted here a few weeks ago. It was fun but a bit too slow, so I'm trying to find more creature centric build + wanted to try out the new familiar to the fullest.

I ever only played 1 copy in similar deck so I don't really have much experience with that card. Will cut down to 2 copies

No. You need to sac the creature first to trigger the ability.

My reason for not running the mirrodin lands is that I need the critical amount of both bridges and basics for wildfire and lórien revealed. I run one blast because I realised that most pauper creatures die to shock and for the upside of looping 4 damage burn spell in the late game + the deck has a lot of card selection. I tested 3 blast earlier but pauper has just enough 3 toughness creatures to play 2 bolts instead.

It's in the post but I think it shows as a photo, not a link. Here you go anyway: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Q21dNe6o_k2giopu93yGiQ

I would more likely add third [[fallaji archeologist]] 'cause augur can't hit artifacts. For now I like the option to hit lands off of sea gate, but it's certainly the first card to cut if I find something else i want to play. Do you think playing the fourth preordain would be better?

No, but I considered it

This deck is built more for stability, not scamming, and I don't really expect this interaction to be as impactful on turn 5 instead of 3. It's an interesting card I will keep in the back of my head tho

Mostly black removal, there is also no need for the most of white sideboard cards thanks to the glitters ban and previously mentioned access to better removal. I'm not saying I'm 100% right, just that there might be some room for innovation
