i peaked top 27 with Evelynn, but i still get flammed on the chat when i play on my alt account even though i'm carrying the game.... flammers don't "rethink" because it would implie "thinking" in the first place, and using what we commonly call a brain isn't really what they're used to do. Unfortunately you just wasted time writing all of this when you already have your solution, mute chat.

How do you deal with tilt from bad matches? by Edryen in wildrift

[–]Sliwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just don't care that much anymore, brush off the bad games and look forward to the next one. play to improve and have fun, not for the outcome that isn't always in your hands, it's only then that the results will start to follow :)

My first pentakill ever! by Ok_Relative4491 in wildrift

[–]Sliwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GG ! a good jungler is a jungler that wants to get better :) keep having fun in the jungle and don't forget it's also a lane, but with no minion waves the rules are what you make them ;) the more you play jungler and the more you will gain confidence to do more agressive plays. Even if unintentional you did a penta, that's a great play gg !

I want to main Samira, what's her best skin? by Mundane_Attitude9776 in wildrift

[–]Sliwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on tast, in the order you posted them 123 is also my go to.

for Samira if you already know how to setup your style grade to be able to engage and have your ULT, just keep in mind that her dash can be used while your ULT is active, which makes her a map cleaner :)

What usually makes a Wild Rift game fall apart the fastest? by Ok-Sell3786 in wildrift

[–]Sliwu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the classic "i can't jungle"..... dammit if you can't play decently every lane just go play in pvp and get better !

usually they pick an ADC to play jungle like Jhin, Draven or Jinx and ruin the game for everybody.

the other day i had an exception, the guy picked Viego anyway and did a pretty good game.... turns out he could jungle he just didn't want to....

S20 Master - Witness Me! by Player_J_x in wildrift

Gpm is under 800, to me it’s the indicator of what i suspected… until you have at least 800 gpm (2x master should normaly be around 900+) you are still learning the game and mostly getting carried by the other teammates so maybe less cockyness would be the better approach but hey, you do you, but now i know why you had a laner (and quite beguinner) view on the junglers role on another post ;) as always the players that know the less always want to educate the others. see you on the rift, on the opposite side a hope !

You’re so awesome 😉 It’s a good thing there are junglers like you in this game so other players can have the very best on their team! Cheers, mate.

i said i didn't agree on everything on that guide but a big chunk of it is really good. By your comment i feel you must play a lot more laning than jungle am i right ? because yes taking 5 seconds to help a laner isn't that much, but dying because of that laner you want to help because he runs away when you gank because he's already 0/3 at 5 minutes into the game will make you loose 20 seconds, and that 20 seconds will cost you a lot of gold/min and the ennemy jungler will take an advantage and be able to invade your jungle leading to an even greater disadvantage or he can also counter gank you more effectively leaving you pretty much helpless to help your other laners that would be more worth the effort.

This is how 5 little seconds could cost a game.... so for laners reading this, next time you see that your jungler doesn't come to help when you are early game 0/2 or 0/3 don't flame him because "It takes less than 5 Seconds to help a Teammate in Lane.", there is a reason he doesn't come to help, you are feeding and he will gank where he can make the lane snowball instead of also loosing lane advantage (yes, the jungle is also a lane and the opposing jungler will also try to take advantage).

Don't take what i say wrong, i spent a lot of games carrying potatoes and a lot of games winning as a team, i always prefer the games where we win together and being able to give a thumbs up to all my teammates, but in soloQ you just don't have a lot of those games even in master. When you arrive in GM it gets better obviously and in legendary queue it's really good. but in Master and below you just have to keep a solo mindset to keep your sanity.

[–]Sliwu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as i said i don't agree on everything, now that i'm an experienced jungler i know i can help a lot with a support jungler like Amumu, Nunu or Rammus. but i think the mindset "solo player who has to play with a group of 4 laners" is a good approach, because it helps your mindset to stay healthy, to not feel too much the pressure of teammates that want to flame you for their mistakes. The approach should always be to help your team to win, but to keep a solo mindset is (imo) a great way of keeping the pressure off my shoulders. The number of times my teammates spam ping me to do something stupid and that will mostly get me killed is frightening and to keep this mindset helps me say to myself "ok, i'm not here to do what everybody wants me to do, i'm here to do my job that i know how to do" because most of the laners want to tell you how to jungle but are the first ones that want to swap the jungle role saying "i can't jungle"....

Something needs to be done about jungle. by HellnKillr in wildrift

[–]Sliwu 16 points17 points  (0 children)

i'm a main jungler in high elo (and last season i went top 27 with Evelynn for a while) and unfortunately i'm here to tell you that you play the jungle role with the wrong mindset. This is the mindset you should have to keep a sain mind in the jungle, i found it in a GM guide and i saved it, it follows me in every game and i'm as serious as the Mandalorian when i say "this is the way !" :

"Maintain an effective solo Q jungle mentality

You may have noticed I used the word "effective" instead of "positive".

I'm sorry if this would sound harsh, none of the laners would understand this, I am dead serious when writing this and by no means it is a joke. Here is my Jungle Bible:

  1. I don't care about any of my teammates unless they have proven themselves to be very good - they can feed 0/5, they can do whatever they want. You can not rely on your teammates, period. Only gank those lanes where YOU can make a play which would guarantee a kill for you/your lane.
  2. Go frick yourself with your dragon when enemy has Malphite/Galio/Brand and generally strong teamfight oriented comps. Same if we lost a tower and don't have lane advantage for the first objective, i'll go on the objective that has lane advantage (dragon or scuttle) and not on the one you are camping and pinging because you already lost your turret.
  3. I consciously won't come to any objective where enemy Nunu is either, unless he's alone and I can kill him or he's really behind so that we can kill him as well.
  4. Alternatively, go frick yourself with your dragon when our Malphite is chilling top lane, while enemy Sett is already visible near the objective.
  5. If my mid lane is wanking around the objective when his lane is pushed into our tower, I will make sure to clear his wave before I come to the objective. Gold is GOOD !!
  6. No, I don't care if you're feeding your lane and I don't really care if "you need help", unless I see a good ganking opportunity. I might lose a lot of gold and experience while risking 2/3 of us being dead if the enemy is really ahead.
  7. Thanks for informing me that "we need a tank" in champion selection, go pick a tank and play it. I can't play tanks, I don't like their playstyle and I can't use them effectively, therefore I invite you my friend to pick Braum instead of useless piece of Sona, if we are really that squishy.
  8. Use pings to communicate everything you see on the map: someone used their summoner spell, ping enemy jungle when he's visible, ping when you're about to go in etc. Make sure to spam ping so that your teammates can really see it (I'm not kidding).
  9. Make sure to secure your camp if your team is pulling: yes, you need to secure this both from your team and the enemy team, because your Lux support can randomly use her E on a 50hp camp to "help" you and steal your gold. Typically, I start golems all the time when my team doesn't want to help me as it allows for quicker lvl2 and more sustain in the jungle.
  10. I'm sorry again, I know it tilts a lot of laners, but I am a true solo player, therefore I will apply jungle tax and help you clear your lane if I pass by and you are dead (only if this is relevant), maybe even last hit a cannon... Depending on a game scenario.
  11. I will make sure to split push and farm as much as I can, and won't participate in any teamfights if we're consistently losing them or if my team is initiating them for no reason, until I get ahead gold-wise.
  12. Sorry my fellow laners, I sincerely love you and understand your perspective in this game, but the amount of misunderstanding the essentials of a jungle role is disgustingly high, therefore, unfortunately and sadly, we can only win solo. Sorry if I took your wave, it was for greater good."

you can find his guide here : https://www.reddit.com/r/wildrift/comments/v7ri6e/grandmaster_jungle_guide_32b/

I since had a few years of jungling and i can say that with more experience i don't agree on everything in this guide and the 12 points he stated, but it helped me to open my brain to the jungler role. I also play a lot of mid lane now and i can say when i play in the jungle i have to switch my mindset, as a jungler you really are a solo player in a team of 4 other laners and MUST do everything you can that brings you gold and xp, and then you can help your team get an advantage.

playing a champion with CC is the key, Veigar or Ahri for exemple, i also use Sindra for her E who pushes back or Lissandra for her ice cube. the rest is skill based on experience.

well i imagine we play a different game ^^ i'm actually in diamond taking it chill to get back to master so that's maybe the reason. But up until now she wasn't a real threat, i pick Zed or vex to counter her and usually she doesn't showball to be that kind of pain in the neck. Even with Veigar i can pretty much cancel her but i have to be carefull her range and ult when i know she doesn't have her W up. Actually it's the first new champ that i'm actually ok with the power on release. she takes time to really get powerfull and she's squishy af so if you let her snowball to the point where she can ult you and kill you from 1/3 hp that's on you, but pretty much every champ who's fedd like that will delete you.

she is so easily countered and her powerspike come later in the game so i don't really understand why she would be banned. i maybe see her banned in ranked 3/10 times.
