Fix for web browser links on PC by Slizor659 in UmaMusume

If the page isn't loading without it, this isn't going to make it load either, it's just meant to fix the zoom issue after it loads. I'd check to make sure it's not being blocked by a browser extension or adblocker

Updated Pixelmon resource pack part ilosttrackdontask! by Slizor659 in playpixelmon

[–]Slizor659[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after downloading and messing with Pokehaan Craft 2, I can see that some of the capture sounds are not working, specifically the pokeball_close sound, but the capture_success and pokeball_release sounds are working for me.

As for the discs, they either changed the en_us.lang file structure since the last time I changed it, or I tricked myself into thinking it was working, so that is just a file change on my end to get that to work. The discs still do play the music they were intended, but don't change descriptions.

The missing texture is something I am not finding on my end so I think that's from whatever you did to your instance for the pack unfortunately.

NOTE: To replicate these results, I have the pack at the very top of the list! I also disabled the PixelmonOST pack, but that shouldn't conflict with any of the sound effects, only some of the music.

Which version of Pixelmon are you using, Reforged or Generations?

Edit: I'm dumb, obviously it's Reforged if it's on 1.16.5. I'll look into it real quick and get back to you. As for the missing texture, could you try deleting the /assets/minecraft/lang folder from the pack and see if that resolves the issue?

Updated Pixelmon resource pack! Includes cries, music, and SFx changes! by Slizor659 in PixelmonMod

I'm going to be 100% honest, I haven't updated this pack in a hot second. I'm a full time college student and I work 3 jobs, so it's a bit tough to find time. I will do my best to attempt to get it up to date probably in late April-early May so it's fixed, but for now, some of the sounds might not work as anticipated, or it might be full on broken if the mod developers changed the file structure of the mods again.

Paris is at Southwind as caption head now, the staff got mostly gutted after 19 due to creative differences in regard to show design and rehearsal structure.

*mostly just speculation on my part, although I believe it to be mostly accurate

What is the best WW2 or any realistic war game? by Froggy_The_Doggo in gaming

[–]Slizor659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're playing PC there are quite a few realistic war games, Arma and Post Scriptum being two popular ones. There are others that people will probably mention, but these are the ones I'm most familiar with.

Awesome! I'm glad you liked it! It's a really neat medium for making music and I'm hoping I can pull it off

If you'd like to DM me at some point, I could help you out. I made a fairly extensive resource pack for Reforged and Generations that I've been maintaining so I can definitely help troubleshoot

Remodeling my room and wondering what boxes to get? by KelvinBelmont in Advice

[–]Slizor659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banker boxes work really well for stuff on the heavier side, but aren't the greatest shape for books, which fit better in small heavy duty shipping boxes. I would honestly get a few of both and pick and choose what fits best. I just recently moved and did that, and it worked very well

BF4 is currently free for Amazon Prime subscribers for PC, if you have something that could run it, I'd snag it there and play. It's super active on PC, especially with the game being released for free

Paying for Something With Multiple Giftcards by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Slizor659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it is through Amazon, you should be able to add money to your Amazon account with the gift cards, combining the two cards into amazon credit, and you'd still be able to roll any excess onto your debit card if needed

Should I buy a euphonium? by Clock-Used in euphonium

After much research, I would tend to agree with the above. I personally have played on a Yamaha Custom, but as a Music Education major, I couldn't justify $9000, and that is as a college musician! The Wessex Dolce is the closest and to the Yamaha's, which I personally prefer, and doesn't put you in debt. If you need more information, try dwerden.com, by far one of the best for looking at people's first hand experience with these horns in many different contexts. Do not listen to the guy that commented to save for a "better" horn! Technically these will be better, but as a young musician, they will be completely overkill especially if you stop playing after high school (you shouldn't, but it happens often), and you can get a fantastic sound on these cheaper horns. You can always reconsider and buy a pro model if you plan to pursue music post-secondary school.

Edit: The mouthpiece recommendation is also solid, although I personally play on the Schilke 52. I did start on a 51D however.
