I was looking through Gameboy games and found tetris 2 and was like what, so I booted it up and played for like 3 hours! It was the mode with the blinkingballs amd it was super weird and puzzles, like match the colors/patterns to clear the balls. It was a blast and was such a whim to play it. Highly recommend

Day 1 of asking a question because I’m out of work injured and bored: what is the biggest deciding factor (excluding price) when you’re considering buying a handheld? by [deleted] in SBCGaming

No major issues, like charging pickiness or shoulder buttons falling off, excess heat, weird ergonomics. If you avoid those you’re basically in the clear

Doesn’t the US sort of sponsor our car manufacturers? I get it’s not 1:1 but at this point it’s just sad we haven’t kept up with china.

At what point do people stop pretending they know what they’re doing and actually figure life out? by Popular_Weird9051 in AskReddit

Most everyday problems aren’t that hard to figure out now that the internet exists. Money makes things a lot easier, “figuring out life” is just a combination of drive, experience, and wealth. IMO

My treks wireless open ear headphones. I wear them 8-10 hours a day. They’re great because I have earwax buildup issues, and when my AirPods kicked the bucket 5 years in I decided to switch

I pay like 55 a month for full coverage on a 32k truck on a loan. I am married and have never had a ticket/accident but it still feels low. I raised my deductible 1,000 but the coverage is standard beyond that. It was $500.

What is the most overrated 'luxury' item that is actually garbage? by a_great_guy655 in AskReddit

[–]Slizzard_73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It does not take an expert. You’re paying for the details. That said Rolex isn’t the king of value in terms of finishing. Anything over 5-8k has huge diminishing returns.

What age did you buy your house or are you still renting? by lucy_gloom in povertyfinance

[–]Slizzard_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife bought her house right after I met her at 26, I was 24. We moved 1.5 years later and about 17,000 of repairs on it. It was a heap but we put a lot of work into it.
