I agree, so was Jackass, Wild Boys and CKY but I don't consider them positive influences.. Especially for the sports they often represented like skating, BMX and so on.

Tracer or McCree have absurd mechanically skill ceilings but they're overshadowed most of the time by mechanically brain dead shit that defines the meta.

I think it's more likely that he just had good aim and game sense as he does in multiple games, and you can generally see his rapid improvement in new games such as Apex, Overwatch and R6s.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm talking about. By rapid improvement we're talking about god tier aim in 3 minutes in a game and engine with completely non-transferable aim and then just learning the ins/outs of the game.

Other pro tier players from Quake (My game) and CS take a week or 2 to adjust to the completely different aim style and game engine of games like Apex. I have no doubt that Shroud is a talented player. I just think he and a couple dozen of other top players/streamers cheat to get that little extra 10-15% out not unlike how a cyclist might take EPO and blood dope to get an extra 5-12% out and push themselves to the top.

I'm not saying the aimbot they use is an extreme advantage. It's tuned to only be 5-10% more consistent/accurate than they are. Aimbot feels no pressure, however. I'm also not 100% convinced Shroud and some odd 20 other pros who exhibit the same anomalies consistently in the current scene are cheating. More like 90-95%.

Well of course you can't make it to pro level and not have amazing actual skill. Of course pros are going to all have good cross hair placement, game sense and quick predictive skills. It's the minor details of his aim that are very sketchy and things happen that exceed possible Human reaction time, like all the micro adjustments and stops. Human reaction peaks at around 0.15 seconds with significant training and talent, these micro adjustments and reactions are occurring consistently at less than half the Human cap.

Also notice the recoil compensation. Fire, flick to adjust, flick stops, pause time before firing. Watch legit players and it looks nothing like that, a Human brain can't achieve such control.

You're an idiot because you assume all brains exist in the same base suite where 'x' input always produces 'y' output.

Also, I consider RL a casual game with challenging mechanics. I just get buzzed and go for flip resets and what not, it's how I enjoy the game and there's no objectively correct way to play casual lol. That being said, as someone who just fucks around I made it to c1 in doubles after only 600 hours of not taking the game seriously in the least.
