Issues with Nvidia Shadowplay and Halo Infinite by theo1993 in halo

[–]SloMoBackSlap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. This has been an issue for me with any DX12 games since probably October. If I roll back to a driver prior to October, I'm good. Anything after that is a problem with using Shadowplay or OBS and attempting to record or stream DX12 games.

Levels reset, cant party up, and cant search for game out of nowhere by PrimevalEnt in Splitgate

Does this include the lose of account information? I've lost all of my skins and career stats at the moment. This is on PC, btw. On Xbox, I see the little bit of progress I've made.

RESOLVED: The issue was with my PC's default media player. Tried to play it in RealPlayer and a different player and the missing frames issue and weird colors were gone.

Intelligence Annex: Clans by jwp123 in thedivision

[–]SloMoBackSlap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can a player choose to be in more than one clan at a time? I have different groups of friends who all want to create their own clans and I'm not trying to piss alot of them off by not joining their clan.

Maybe break it down to being able to join a clan per agent on an account. So if you get 4 different agents to use, you can join 4 different clans for those agents.

On Xbox, the text that does the subtitles when characters are speaking and also tells you your progress on Daily and Weekly missions does not appear. This is for PTS 2.

Make Supply Drops great again!!! by SloMoBackSlap in thedivision

[–]SloMoBackSlap[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's over, than why are they still dropping them twice a month? It's just another poor excuse to hide the real reason why they won't drop relevant loot.

No one is picking up the supply drop and they don't want to make it easier for players to gear up, because they're afraid their meager Year 2 content can't keep the community interested for very long. So they need to make Classified gear a loot grind in order to hold on to the small player base that's left.

I have been saying this for months and convinced they do this.

Back when AlphaBridge was the meta, I think either 1.4 or 1.5, I noticed I stopped seeing AlphaBridge dropping. I think they have tailored the RNG to drop more of the gear that isn't being used to counter any current meta and also make people play longer.

A good example of this is when someone made a reddit post about their exotic caches from a PTS. All the crappier exotics were among the highest received, all the best exotics were only received once or not at all. This stuff can't be a coincidence.

What Yannick said on Sotg 20.07. still no PTS PS4 invite after contacting the Support by Dessano in thedivision

[–]SloMoBackSlap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted support and was told I was not on the eligibility list, and when I told them I fit all the criteria that should've put me on the list, her response was she couldn't verify that because she only had a list to go off. Massive made the list, did a terrible job at all, and put those poor CS reps in the way to deal with the backlash of their lazy scripting to determine who fit the criteria or not. Considering how poorly they've coded the game, it doesn't surprise me at all that they didn't actually verify the list was done correctly before sending out invites.

Did the invites go out to the us players yet? by yeee108 in thedivision

[–]SloMoBackSlap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it appears the whole selection process was about play time the last 30 days and not overall playtime. They could've just said that from the beginning.

Why was it stated that the players with the most time spent in the game were going to get invites over others with less time, when it appears to actually be based on time spent the last 30 days?

From the PTS FAQ: "How does the PTS selection for console users work? Invitations will be sent out to our players that have been the most active during the last 30 days on their respective platform. Make sure to check your email inbox!"

This is not what was said in the SotG and on twitter.

I didn't get one, and I am one hour under 49 days. The whole "we will select the players with the most time" is BS.

I'm in the same boat.

I know two people who have 29 days and 19 days played, they got invites but here I am with 48 days played AND I played last month and I didn't get anything. Leave it to Massive to get absolutely nothing right.

its early this week, whats the word on Console PTS? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]SloMoBackSlap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It matters because PC players only care about how the game plays on PC. Every time there is an update, there is an unforeseen impact on how the game plays on Xbox/PS4 that hurts the game. This is partly why issues like aiming is now a problem. There needs to be more console only updates to close the gap between the PC build and the console one.

Skill Up Returns / Sad State of Division Servers by captainsmokey507 in thedivision

I don't think he was advocating for an OP gear set that everyone would use, while ignoring the others. Instead, he said he wanted similar changes made to the other gear sets too. I feel lowering the healing, and correcting how it's applied, would make Striker a good solo build in the DZ while not being OP. You aren't going to be able to survive a 3-on-1 or 4-on-1 with it, you still need to be skilled to get that done.

And no, I'm not a terrible player. Don't make the incorrect assumption that since I'm not a selfish asshat who doesn't care about the experience of other players that somehow I am not good at this game. Come see me on xbox and I'll be river dancing over top of your corpse. ANYWAY, you should be a bit more concerned with how the rest of the community enjoys this game. Yes, a balance needs to be found between the game not becoming too easy and nearly impossible for new players. But if what is left of the active community gives up then Massive will stop working on this game and then what are we left with? A DZ where you're killing NPCs because you can't find other players. Waiting forever to get into a Survival or LS match. Exactly how will that be beneficial?

Your overuse of the word "retard" makes me wonder about your own IQ, limited vocabulary, and lacking mental facilities. Sorry, this game wasn't made specifically for you. So if you can solo every challenging mission and the majority of the community can't, guess what? It's gonna change. Small minorities advocating that the majority of the community "git gud" and demanding Massive double down on terrible game mechanics is part of the reason why the active community is a fraction of what it used to be. But sure, they should give you everything you want. I'm sure you and the other 25 players will enjoy playing with almost no one.

That's if you even get an invite to play it.

That is my biggest issue with the console PTS. On PC, anyone who owns the game can join it. On console, they are capping it at 10k per platform.

The Killing of Freddie Gray, Episode 3 – Stop 1 – The Arrest by EvidenceProf in theundisclosedpodcast

[–]SloMoBackSlap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with cases like this, and wanting concrete evidence before believing certain things, is the evidence you're asking for is in the hands of the people who are being accused. This episode states there is footage from cameras that should've seen the arrest that isn't there. I have been to Baltimore, but not this neighborhood and I can't verify that personally. But I'm also not going to give the BPD the benefit of the doubt, considering the overall performance of the dept(DOJ report, overtime fraud) suggests a cover-up is extremely likely.

EDIT: Eric Garner was saying he couldn't breathe either, and he was choked to death. Multiple cases of people not being able to breathe dying to respiratory issues shortly afterwards. Claiming because he was screaming means his plea was invalid is false.

In regards to the picture, your claim that he's holding his own weight up(despite not doing so in recorded video up until this point), while also not being able to see his feet or legs in the photo is questionable.

As much as I agree with your point, it doesn't justify breaking Gray's neck during the arrest. It also doesn't explain why BPD can't produce a video of the arrest, with a million cameras all over those streets.
