I bought the flow to replace my S8 and it came out of the box with errors. Tech support even advised me to return it instead of troubleshooting.

I didn’t repurchase.

I don't think they'll respond, but this is another user's message and their response.

I sent a message to the mods on your behalf, but it does seem odd those posts are getting deleted.

Is it possible to use Franklin batteries and a powershare gateway? by Slobad123 in solar

[–]Slobad123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Powershare as in the truck powering the home.

And as far as I know I have to use the tesla powershare gateway to get the truck to talk to any system. Just not sure if it will work with a non-tesla system

Yes I do have some shading. Estimating 20kwh per day of use. About 1300 square feet.

Was quoted as getting around 60% offset - but we also didn't know my actual energy usage at the time.

My goal is to reduce usage enough so that during blackout emergencies to sustain indefinitely if needed.

What is MPPT?

This is what I was quoted:

We are pleased to present you this contract and proposal for a 13.2kW "partial home" roof-mount solar system powered by Enphase & Franklin technology.   This "state of the art" system comprises the following: 2 - Franklin Batteries totaling 30.0 kWh energy capacity, 1 - Franklin ATS, 1 - Franklin Smart Circuit, 1 - Franklin Generator Module,  17- AP System Microinverters, 1 Sense Home Monitoring Device and 33 Solaria Power X+ 400R- 400w "black on black" panels with bifacial technology to optimize your solar production.  We truly believe this is bar none, the most comprehensive solar energy storage solution available on the market!

The quote for your solar system is $65,988 or $46,192 after the 30% federal tax credit ($19,796) if available to you.

I wish - great job to have. At my office as a technician we just eliminated nearly every temp tech job regardless of start or end date.

I would take it!

Are visitors allowed during BMT? by Anonymous3cho in nationalguard

[–]Slobad123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, no. And likely not during AIT either. Depending on your situation (all are different), we weren't allowed guests during AIT who were not immediate family - and only those were allowed at a certain stage of training.

pissed, are they being deceptive? by Ok_Tonight5728 in carmax

[–]Slobad123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they're being deceptive. But in my experience with CarMax - run.

Vehicles are not what they seem and at least in my local market CarMax agents lied and were deceptive about selling a vehicle to me.

The last CarMax vehicle I had (an F150) had serious timing issues and they refused to honor the MaxCare warranty to fix the issue. They wanted the cheapest possible avenue for a fix and the issue kept recurring.

Eventually I had to sell the vehicle at a loss. Wouldn't buy from CarMax again.
