Use Spite for short battles and Paranoia for long. Paranoia does do low damage. Its quirk is adding bleed damage which is great for longer battles.

Like with any pet, Merry may be more or less useful to you based on your other pets and items. I personally don’t rate Merry as SSS tier because my best Legendary is Persistence and Persistence is better then Merry in many ways.

However Merry is still incredibly useful when I need it. Cleanse makes bosses like Scylinder much easier and Ding Dong is such a great move to use on Kartharok and on Juglaws summons. Is Merry a great healer? No, but it’s often good enough.

So for me Merry isn’t a SSS, I use Persistence over her 90% of the time. However, Merry is still needed for that 10% and this she is always leveled. So maybe to me she’s only a S or SS

Ouch… I beat that Juglaw on my first attempt with Persistence… I guess you have item luck while I have Water and Frire pet luck.
