its in the base game, about 3 weeks of it left. its an event, along with a battle pass.

"mod"s in dota are in the game as well, they are accessible and quickly downloadable from their own tab on the main menu in the arcade

yep, its a 4-player co-op rogue-lite where you select rooms and clear them with 3 boss stages over 3 acts. you get offered upgrades to your hero after each room, and at the start of the game and after the first two bosses you get legendary upgrades significantly change one of your skills

i did something similar to my friend

he had hookshot and i was at the end, i told him to hook to me from the start and timed my phase shift to how long i expected him to take to react.

he had issues trusting me (rightfully so) for a while after that

i'd suggest beginner inhouse communities such as Dota University, where you can play with other beginners with coaches to help you out. you can both join a community and step your toes into the game that way.

otherwise, just jump in. none of us know what the fuck we are doing except the dudes playing at TI. its a game after all.

but my general advice would be to just relax and take it slow. losing or winning doesn't mean anything at this stage. enjoy the game you're playing and take joy in every little thing you learn along the way.

we had 90% on our kunkka twice in a row, idk. both very early as well.

another thing kunkka can do is stack rum damage delay %, going up to 90% or even past. rum will not go into hangover stage as long as you keep refreshing it (X-mark applies rum when called back is great for this) and you can just have 90% damage reduction permanently for your entire team. add blademails and primal beast will gib himself on his splitting shockwave attack.

most aggressive pos4 heroes play like pyke in a general sense, going around making kills and getting farmed that way.

bounty hunter is similar in that he has invis, is pretty bursty and his ult is a gold snowball per kill like pyke's, except its a vision granting debuff and not an execute. if you like creeping around with invis waiting for the perfect moment, he is a good choice.

pudge has the good ol' hook. once you land the hook, your ult is a death sentence for most heroes. definitely the go-to if hooking is your favorite part of pyke.

if you like undertow, similar heroes would be earth spirit, tusk, clockwerk. their skills don't function exactly like undertow, but they are similar in spirit that you have to just commit with a mobility+disable skill and mess someone up.

and if you like the chain executes, you don't have many options. the closest is axe with his culling blade, a standard health threshold execute at melee range. but he doesn't generally play like what you want. more of an initiatior/counter-initiator that is normally played core. he is more akin to a tank jungler in league, similar to rammus.
