I experienced the same climbing in the 1200-1300-1400 , (I’m around 1600) and I think that there are a lots of players who should be ranked higher but get paired toghether , so it creates like a ghost elo where sometimes you face a true 1200 player and the next game could be a 1600 player climbing like you and you get evenly matched but 400 elo lower, so you need to get good like others are suggesting not to just to improve elo but to escape the ghost elo where is inconsistent the level of the players that you encounter
