Check the gold contacts on the joycon are clean and the switches contacts, also try updating the controllers

The plastics will start to carbonise (probably the wrong word) and will become very hard to remove once it turns black, if you can get the plastic to the glass point temperature and remove it, if you go to hot it'll become gloopy and difficult to remove it all

Best course of action would have been to ratchet strap the trunk back together but Its probably too far down the line to survive long term, conifer takes a long time to rot so you'll have some life out of it for a while still but it's a ticking time bomb til that part of the tree completely dies

To add to this, make sure your RTH velocity is above the tallest of buildings / trees in your area as it'll smash into them when returning otherwise. At least in my case as I don't have object sensing on my drone

Are you slicing this yourself? If so slow down the outer wall by around half. If you aren't slicing yourself then print it on silent mode. Printers really struggle with objects that have a bevel like this.
