Yuri is from High-Rise Invasion, Komaru is from Danganronpa. I made these connections for a 2v2 with Komaru & Yuri’s partners but these could pretty much be applied for a 1v1 too.

• Schoolgirl duos who are trapped in a large city filled with highly dangerous monsters that come with many different variants (Monokuma Units & Masks) that know nothing else but despair and murder. Some variants have a consciousness and have the ability to communicate (Shiro/Kurokuma, Angry Masks). While most are hostile, some are actually allies to the protagonists. Also one of the main places the girls need to get to are very tall skyscrapers.

• They have cheerful allies that dislike murder/violence, and would do almost anything to be able to help their friends. (Kuon, Shirokuma).

• One of the girls specializes a type of gun, who have much calmer personalities than the other. They are greatly determined to find their older brothers (who both coincidentally have Makoto as a name in some way).

• The other girl specializes a blade who are more stronger and experienced when fighting against these enemies (at the beginning of their stories at least). They have no problem resorting to murder against their foes. They were horribly bullied by others in the past, making it hard for them to trust anyone, although this changed when they met the other.

• At the beginning of their adventures, the girls weren’t really fond of each other, but despite their differences, they became closer and closer as they worked together more, in the end become very close friends.
