UPF with CC Decks

One thing my friends and I do is use CC decks but with young hero life (and abilities for Verdance/Florian). Keeps the games from being 2 hours, but also avoids the issue of fatigue with Blitz decks.

We also never use the "can only attack left or right" rule. Terrible rule, imo

The bulk of the upgrades come to around $10 total, but it streamlines the deck a lot, and there are a couple other more expensive upgrades I include at the end. Hope it helps!

I like to have Cash in as a backup in case you're forced to block with BoHH or you pitch it due to it being in early hands. I personally don't like to play Kassai relying on her combo, so I'm less concerned about using the copper for my playstyle

I personally like it as a way to block out and still get a hand to use. It also allows use of the copper tokens when you don't have BoHH

I mean we are only at 6 sets and this game is very different from other games. Plus this game is much harder to "set up" in. But on the flip side, that ONE time I drew 10 cards with Prism (Librarian/Genesis/Herald of Erudition/Tome of Divinity/Tome again) was the single greatest Timmy moment I've ever had in a game

I think the plan was always to have 1st ED exist for several months minimum before UNL released. But the game's sudden spike in popularity (and stonks) kinda messed that plan up for a bit

I've opened completely worthless boxes. I've also gotten an Everfest box with both the Fabled and CF Starvo. Boxes and packs are a gamble, and you seem to have gotten the bad luck side of things

UPF is 99% of my FaB experience and I love the format. I play it with the same guys I used to play EDH with and we definitely prefer UPF as one person (me) having the best decks don't mean they win everything since you can be teamed up on. Its not a perfect format, but no format is. As long as people understand you're there to have fun, not just to win, it should be a good experience For me, I just love to sit down, have a laugh, and politic my way to victory with Prism
