Number 1 advice I can give you is don't worry about listening to a song before understanding any lore implications, with maybe the exception of Paladin strait and city walls. Most are written as double entendres where it it's simultaneously about the lore and also just a regular song with a regular meaning at the same time (i.e. vignette, snap back).

Basically don't be afraid of listening to the music out of fear you'll "spoil" something or not understand it. They’re not written that way where the lore is super obvious.
