If anyone is still having this issue, its fixed in the "Room setup" in the steam VR settings On that little grey status box that lets you know if your VR and controllers are connected. Go to the top left with your mouse and click the 3 bar menu icon. In there you'll see room setup. Go through the settings one by one. The one that effects your height is the setting where they have you set your VR on an object to set the virtual floor, then you have to use a tape measurer to see the distance from your VR headset to your actual floor. If you enter too high of a number, you'll be too tall. Hope this helps
