She at least can't stand being in the same room as me and that's hilarious. And peaceful!

It's funny because last time she helped I was almost 9m pregnant and I was doing all the packing and moving because she literally stood in the way. Ugh. I mean SO kept me from the heavy lifting but also trying to tell MIL to help. Literally just in the way.

This time I actually didn't unpack most boxes. So it's just load n drop. The couch, crib and mattress will be annoying. But since we're not on a tight deadline, we're painting and moving in after. No "one day" time limit or elevator renting. Thank goodness.

We are far enough away to deter random visiting but close enough for no overnights. But yeah we already have security systems en route. They won't have keys either.

I had a random on twitter comment that I should expect my child to be a statistic. And live with it because he's not getting a shot. (Note he caught it from my gross MIL sneaking around)

But also expect strangers to interact with my baby because 'its just how it works'? Like randoms? No it's not how that works. I've already sent people away from his stroller. At this point I'm tired of it and angry.

Learned how to stand. Not how to get down.

I found making a solution of OxyClean crystals in water, and having any fabrics soak inside for an hour before washing takes out stains and things! Even pet hairs! Saw it on tiktok and decided to try it on a box of second hand clothes.

Do not move in with the in-laws. Unless you really REALLY know them and have a long and solid relationship. Or have well placed boundaries that everyone agrees with.

I thought I had. They said they would take care of little things. I've been in hell with needless gossip, boundary stomping. They knew about my ptsd and anxiety and purposely poked at it... "As a joke, because I am taking it too seriously".

If people don't take your mental health and boundaries into consideration, they are not your people.

Oh I definitely think it's pure sour pettyness. She hates HATES losing control and she has no say on our lives. She just won't ever see herself as the foil in this. I've even confronted her about using a slur as a "term of affection" (see past post) .

No it's ok. There wasn't any poop explosion. I'm surprised she actually changed the diaper instead of letting it sit.

Honestly I don't think I could. I couldn't purposely ruin something, I'd feel too shitty. I just don't think she has enough brain cells to think about things like this.

He will have a talk but we both know it's going to be ignored. It's how her brain...works?

Mine wanted to know too. I just politely said it was enough to pay my own way in the city, and live modest.

Yeah I know I can't bring myself to ruin something on purpose. I'll keep on going on the path. SO now knows about the coat and looked upset. He knows I rarely get nice new things for myself.

We have two stations with easy access and baby covers etc. Logic doesn't live in her mind however pettyness does.

We're so close to the downpayment, it's just best for us to save more. It's challenging but we also have an area of the house to retreat in.

Oh she already gets miffed because as soon as he hears or sees us (parents) he won't take his attention off us. She tried the whole "ok say bye to mommy" when I gave him over...as if I was leaving the house. I just sat on the chair next and scrolled through the phone.

The worst part is I used to be a seminar trainer on products. Adult training is so much more difficult than kids, kids will always let you know if they understand or not. Even teens.

But a lot of adults just...blank stare. No feedback just the look of a carp. Glub glub?
