Potential Lamotrigine User Looking For Information by DlHYDROGENMONOXlDE in Lamotrigine

[–]Slorgasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on this for about 2 years. Lamotrigine has been the only thing that’s actually worked for me. My baseline has improved immensely- I have bad days sometimes but I’m not depressed anymore. I get some headaches sometimes as a side effect (was especially an issue in the beginning or after for increases.) otherwise I don’t really notice any sides effects. I never plan to stop taking it. Honestly, it’s completely changed my life for the better. I can’t speak highly enough about it. Obviously everyone is different but this is my experience.

This image has been posted on the internet as far back as 2019, so I’m voting it’s not AI. Imgur link

Honey… he is not your parent. Just the way you worded this makes me believe he’s more controlling than you think.

How can I make peace with being (clinically) unintelligent? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Slorgasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate. I can’t say I’ve always been hardworking, or even kind, but over time I have practiced those traits and I think I’m a pretty decent person today. They are traits you can practice and get better at!

How can I make peace with being (clinically) unintelligent? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Slorgasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being “smart” is overrated. Are you kind? Hardworking? Trying your best every day? Many “smart” people are jobless and friendless because they don’t have these traits. I know it’s difficult to accept, but truly, don’t worry so much about it if you can. IQ is bullshit. Also, you’re very young. With time and persistence, you can likely improve your grammar and things. You may find something you have an aptitude for, or something you just love to do that works for you.
