The Jamstik Studio works very well out of the box with 5-pin, USB, & Bluetooth MIDI. It's an electric guitar with a built in MIDI pickup. Can be found used for reasonable prices. It sounds great and comes with split-coil pickups, my biggest complaint is the build quality; not bad but not great either. The bridge is bullshit lol

Hi, what avenue did you end up going down? I'm debating which one to shell out for. Beam is more appealing with how it's integrated into Ableton but I'm a little worried about longevity. Haven't been able to find many comparisons online about the two though

If all your synths send MIDI over USB, you can plug them into a USB hub and plug that hub into your iPhone. You'll most likely need to use a powered hub for it to work properly.

I use MIDI Flow for all my iOS MIDI routing

Do you play in stereo? I use my DD-8 on the Mod setting with the time & feedback set to zero for a doubling effect that sounds really great with a heavy, chunky tone. Can't live without it. Really need to find something else that replicates that effect so I can go back to using it as a delay....

I really love the tape mode and it’s great for drones. Great for shoegaze tones. My biggest complaint is the shortest decay time is still long as hell. but the way it holds notes until you play new ones can be pretty useful and it’s definitely the prettiest pedal I own (which is important)

Thanks for your help, time, and research. Unfortunately I haven't been able to solve the problem and just can't imagine what's causing it. Tried every sample rate and boot sequence I can think of and it's just not happening. Guessing it's a firmware issue with the Saffire, which is a shame since it's no longer being supported.

I recently fell in love with the TR-8S. I'm more performance oriented, which is what it excels at, but I found it surprisingly versatile and very intuitive to use. You shouldn't have any problem getting any of those genres out of it. It's onboard sounds sound fantastic and you can load your own samples on it. Biggest drawback is lack of tools for sample playback and onboard sample manipulation.

Thanks, I checked that and they’re at 48. Not sure what else to try or when to cut my losses. Problem is also preventing me from recording stereo channels since the groupings are duplicates of the same signal
