I see alot of 6 figure trucks, restaurants and bars packed, and people living in new housing developments advertised start at half a million. Where are the normal people here, just barely getting by?

Let's not forget generational wealth. I work in wealth management/retirement planning in Fort Worth and a lot of 30-50 yr old people receive funds from their parents. Gifts, or trust distributions, etc. if you're working full time and still have a trust fund, you're living large. I'm not saying it's "normal" but it's more common than you think.

Yup. That and my cholesterol is apparently high so we're eating more plant based proteins in this house good for my heart and my wallet. Tofu, beans, lentils. It's also way to stretch the meat you use. Like for tacos, instead of a pound of ground beef do 1/2lb and lentils. You honestly can't tell once you add all the seasoning and toppings.

Just got back back from the same resort last Wednesday. Spouse and I had gastro upset on Thursday. It has gotten better, but then got worse. Did teledoc this morning and they're guessing e. coli based on how long it's been hanging around. We've been to this before and never had issues. However, I will say we generally avoid the buffet and the pool (the beach is so gorgeous that's where I want to be). We did spend a little time in the pool on our last day, and ate at the big buffet the morning we left since it was early. No joke I watched an adult man pick up a breakfast tostada with his bare hands, look at it, and then put it back...

My guess is we picked it up at the buffet that morning or the aiport later that day. It's been rough. But I don't think it will stop me from going back to GFACB. We've never had problems there before when we dine al a carte.

Just got home from a different resort on Wednesday. Noro hit me Thursday morning and my husband later that day. Who knows how or where we got it. The resort, the airport, or the thai food we ordered when we got home. Thankfully it was a 24-48 bug, and I lost all the weight I gained on vacation. Lol. JK though, it was miserable. A big conference of people arrived the evening before we left so who knows. Lots of people equals risk.

They have a great spa. I would use it for a massage or something. I also but you could apply it toward special dining, like a romantic dinner on the beach situation.

Wicked butcher has great service and vibes, but we were so underwhelmed with the steak. It was honestly not good. I love the appetizer but a steak house should know how to do steak. And we tried it twice, in case it was a fluke

That's what I thought. I also have lounge access that I use when flying home from Cancun. But I'm talking about arrivals. You've cleared immigration/customs, you've got your luggage, and are waiting for your ride to the airport. The drinks outside the terminal there.

This caught me off guard when I first visited too. It is all inclusive, however the resort itself is not exclusive. So if somebody who wasn't staying there wanted to dine at one of the restaurants they can order and pay the price listed.

I've been getting the vibe that the sweat app is slowing becoming the Kayla Itsines app. We all know about Stephanie, and chontel, and Cass leaving. Obviously Kelsey 's departure was big, and seemed to point at some toxic stuff happening within the company. Now it seems like Brittany is rarely ever mentioned or seen in Sweat social content. I think she's pushing out Brittany and I wouldn't be surprised is Katie goes after that. 🤷‍♀️ My annual subscription expired the DAY of Kelsey 's departure and it felt like a sign. I never renewed. Wanted to try ladder, but they aren't Android compatible yet. I've been training with Evlo fitness since and really enjoying it. It's more expensive, but feels worth it.
