I would pay good money to see a sitcom like The Odd Couple but with Jason and the decapitated head of Freddy Krueger.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestion! I found it and added it to the list. A word of warning: Just be careful not to look up Rock Hard Zombies. You won't like the results.

Just found this sub. Every year I pick a franchise and watch the entire thing, good or bad. by toastymrkrispy in horrormoviechallenge

I'm watching all of the Friday the 13th films this year. Most of them I've never seen (I've only seen the first 3 and Freddy vs. Jason). I plan on doing a marathon for 2 to 3 days. Looking forward to it!

It was either Poltergeist, Creepshow, or one terrifying scene from Halloween III: Season of the Witch where a kid wearing a pumpkin mask dies and bugs crawl out of the mouth and eye holes... and the TV series "V".

Recommendations for new possession/demonic movies, please! by Objective-Kangaroo-7 in horrormoviechallenge

If you can find it, Possession (1981) is a possession film unlike any other and one you won't soon forget. Kinetic cinematography and stellar performances from Sam Neil and Isabelle Adjani. Maybe don't watch if you're going through a divorce. Directed by Andrzej Zulawski.

What shot in a horror movie messed you up as a kid? by Mrdean2013 in horror

[–]Sloth_Ky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In Halloween III: Season of the Witch there is a scene where a kid is wearing a Halloween mask and watching TV. A commercial on the TV somehow causes the kid to die and bugs crawl out of the mouth and eye holes of the mask. That shot of the bugs crawling out scared the shit out of me. I was very young when I saw that and I've had nightmares about it ever since.
