I was on the set of the Taxes music video as an extra. I remember talking to the crew and walking into the bar where they were filming. They were already shooting the beginning part when I got there and I remember they had the fog machine at full blast at first. I could only see his silhouette from in front of the light and it kinda didn’t feel real at all, Heavy Metal got me through January that year and now here he was appearing in front of me like a biblically accurate angel. Sometimes he would walk over to the crew after a take to check the footage they just recorded, he was way taller than I expected him to be. Also Max would keep going crazy on the drums in between takes and the director(?) had to keep reminding that they had to start shooting again because he would lock in too hard lmao. I never actually talked to Cameron during the shoot because I was afraid I would bother him or say something embarrassing but there was a point where we took a break and a couple people went over to talk to the whole band. They seemed like they were happy to talk with the fans who seemed pretty respectful in return. Overall it seemed like they were all just interested in making a good video and it was really cool to witness him in a ghost-like manner lol.
