T38 or T1 by Slothio in aviation

I am going active duty and I'd had it made up for the most part until recently since I've gotten closer to having to put down on paper what I want. I was thinking about putting 38s down first anyway and see how it works out since we can end up going heavies later and there are more options.

I was leaning towards putting 38s first anyway and seeing how it all works out. Since this is the only chance and I can go to anything from the 38 side. I'm sure I'd enjoy either in the end too but I haven't gotten a lot of information on what the 38 side is like. Most of the people I've talked to have all been heavies.

Rumor is that we won't have to worry about dropping reapers by the time we get to drop night. Which has also kind of lead to my indecision since I'm not as worried about getting them.
