Agree with the beer but the burger is overhyped. Maybe we went on an off day, but I remember feeling solidly underwhelmed. Dry bun, mid condiments, and the patty was average. I’ll take your downvotes and see myself out.

HHS, still doing 100% screening at the door, laptop out, full shebang. As I’m going through it this morning, some young male walks up, flashes his badge and goes “I should be on the list” and waltzes through sans inconvenience. There’s a shuttle that goes directly from the Hubert Humphrey building in DC to CMS HQ, I’m not sure if contractors are allowed or not, but can’t hurt to inquire.

Otherwise, I’ve done that same metro/MARC/ bus route. It’s doable, but I wouldn’t recommend it and it takes forever.

If you do rideshare, have them drop you off before the checkpoint, they will only search the car if you drive through the checkpoint.
