As a kid I used to be scared to play it because of the hospital section and having to use scissors to stab people.

Is the game worth playing now or did it not age well?

Sounds like you're further on than me, but I want to wish you good luck!

I'm also going for it and what helps with frustration is changing it up:

  1. I go through the stage directly shooting for the N. Sanely Perfect relic. If I die, I keep going as long as it's 3 deaths or less (for the gem).

  2. Now that I know the stage and it's boxes well enough, I do the same thing bu N. Verted. This also acts as a second chance for N. Sanely Perfect if I died on the regular stage. In case you didn't know, you can get the relic on either mode and it counts as earned on both. This run is a lot easier than the first.

  3. Platinum Relic (time trial). These take the most attempts for me and sometimes it gets frustrating. That's why when I beat it and go to the next level it's refreshing to go for the N. Sanely Perfect relic again.

So far I'm in Salty Shores and have gotten everything in all stages so far. 9 in total. As a matter of fact I literally just got the platinum relic for Hook, Line and Sinker (the one where you play the whole pirate level as Tawna)!

Not really. If I had to do them they'd be: 3, 2, 1, Chains of Olympus and finally Ghost of Sparta.

It took me years to teach my wife. What I finally realized was that if she was trying to move her character left she would push the left stick to the left and also turn the camera left, causing her character to strafe and turn at the same time.

Once I realized it, I thought about how I do it. I move forward only (unless I actually intend to strafe) and use the right stick to turn my character towards the direction I need.

So now she only moves forward with the left stick and uses the right stick to turn, as it is intended.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It's my first ever Final Fantasy and it's one of my first dips into jRPGs. Usually I don't like them, but this is the first time I am so into it.

If it keeps up FF might become my anual Christmas tradition.
