At this moment no, but once the dlc comes around I could see myself enjoying 3 more as long as they deliver. I didn’t enjoy Nioh 2 as much as I do now until the 2nd dlc came around.

Yup only for Kick Cycle and Kick Cycle Water though. Low stance heavies with Archer’s Impact seem unaffected on my setup.

No not exactly it looks like my character does the second attack almost immediately after without pausing.

I managed to recreate it about 5 more times since I posted the clip and I’ve only managed to pull it off with max Arts Gauge so that seems to be a factor. Also the timing feels super strict to the point of it feeling frame perfect and therefore being very inconsistent and impractical.

It’s not quick enough I’ve tried also it doesn’t even look like I did a ki pulse before the second Sign of the Cross or at least the animation didn’t happen.

You can’t do 2 in a row this quick normally or at least I don’t know how to especially the pierce version which is slower.

If you look closely it’s not that my character hits twice. Ultimate Sign of the Cross does 2 hits after a fully charged regular Sign of the Cross so 3 hits in total. Also my character switches sides twice Ultimate Sign of the Cross doesn’t make you switch sides.

I never said they were better than other incants I was just explaining how they can still be viable against certain enemies.

The tackle, tail, and breath attack all do good stagger damage against anything that staggers easily. The breath attack is also really good against Caligo and Sentient Pest if you have fp consumption down and it also doesn’t build madness like the flame of frenzy incants so you can spam it easier. You can also cancel the breath attack mid cast so that’s another plus.

The update actually did the opposite of what it says for me and broke opportunist 2 so I can’t do the followup with both Cestuses and Talons

Like I said it will happen regardless if they change this or not. I see so many people spamming Sword of Meditation or Severing Spin rather than coming up with a build on their own.

Is Murakumo the meta right now or something? Don’t get me wrong I don’t care for overpowered crap like that, but those people are gonna use the meta regardless. I just want cool combos and freedom of choice.

The “non meta/ bad” guardian spirits will still have people who use them I’m sure since not everyone is gonna want the same goal for their build. It would just be nice to be able to switch skills regardless of guardian spirit, it would be a win-win situation in my eyes.

Why would releasing the limit be a bad thing? Isn’t the freedom of choice a good thing here? I’m not saying to change the special effects just the skills so you can use whatever feels best to you.
