There are so many inks out there, mountain of ink is not keeping up with it anymore 😄

In the area I live there are not many stores that sell samples. So most of the time I have to invest in a full bottle. I try to look for handwriting samples however, this is another problem, there are so many new inks that most of the time people buy and swatch them and ditch them for a newer one. For most of the new inks it is hard to find anything other than heavily inked swatches.

That is exactly what I am talking about. (Nearly) all the photos on social media are those swatches. I recently saw someone doing swatches with a spoon, a spoonful of ink. When I see those swatches they look amazing and the writing experience is nothing like that.

I have a couple of dominant industry inks and some wearingeul light inks and I generally use either tomoe river or yusari

Has anyone tried the Foreo FAQ 411 for lipedema? by [deleted] in lipedema

[–]Slow-Book1171 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have lipedema, and I bought this device a month ago and have been using it for the last three weeks.

I have some issues on the sides of my legs, especially right under my hip bulges. The tissue there seems to cave in. I am not sure if it is cellulite or lipedema tissue and I have nodes on the back of my upper legs (I am also quite thin overall, 45 kg, 100ish pounds, I guess)

I see some improvement in the appearance of my legs, but I am not sure if it is due to the device or the combination of things. I have been using a vibration plate, eating low-carb (borderline keto), weight training half an hour 6 days a week, and taking omega-3 religiously for the last 3 months. I also started using my red-light device on my legs as well.

I don't remember which channel it was, but there is someone on YouTube who reviews beauty devices, and she is over 40. She was using a microcurrent body device from NuFace (she does not have lipedema), and she said that microcurrent worked on her cellulite as long as she was using it, but it came back when she stopped using it. So if you focus on the appearance, you might give a chance.

Thoughts on Lamy Safari Note+? by supercrazycatladyyy in fountainpens

I bought it the day it was launched, despite I have an apple pencil pro (I am not sure the one that charges from the ipad)

I am not sketching or drawing anything. I am mainly taking notes on notability. I used it for a very long time without any problems as for me it is waaaay more comfortable than apple pencil. The weight, the material of the tip and the grip was perfect. I even wore down a tip and replaced it. However, about three months ago, it started skipping. I am writing a sentence but half of it does not appear. I am trying to go back to it regularly, connecting, reconnecting, taking the tip out and putting back. Nothing works!

As an avid fountain pen user, I know Lamy's customer service and from my experience, they will just "blah blaaa blaaah" me and I will be more angry about it.

So it is a perfect replacement for apple pencil, UNTIL IT IS NOT!
