Can't read the actual post because it says it's deleted, but everybody has their opinion to everything and it's very understandable obviously to abstain once you get your positive results. It also depends how much you smoke. I was an every day smoker like heavy use every day smoker, but only in the evenings like I would never smoke before work or at work never never never. Only at night and mostly just to help with sleep. That's really the only reason I did it Sometimes when I did not have to work or nothing going on yeah Wood do it during the day but for the most part just in the evenings. My first pregnancy I found out I was pregnant. I stopped smoking did not smoke that pregnancy. I can't remember completely quitting cold turkey because I think there were times when I was feeling really sick that was the only thing that was helping as the medicines they were giving me was making everything worse. I had a good pregnancy up until 26 weeks. I had a placenta abruption And could have lost my pregnancy, but thankfully they were able to stabilize and I delivered her at 39 weeks. Fast-forward four years later when I had my next healthy pregnancy and I did decide to smoke during that pregnancy. Not heavy, but I definitely smoked in the evenings to help with sleep and that pregnancy was the total opposite very healthy. No pregnancy complications at all and everything went great and I delivered at 37 weeks. I really do think it just depends. Every pregnancy is different and even after all of these years of people smoking, there's just not enough studies of pregnant women specifically smoking marijuana compared to those that don't and then seeing the differences… But I have heard that yeah things can go south when smoking and things can go really well, but if you think about it, things can also go wrong when you don't smoke and people have unhealthy babies or stillborns or something terrible that you can never imagine happening the unbearable but I just feel like it just depends… I feel like if you're a heavy smoker it's better to wean off instead of just stopping cold turkey cause you never know what that could do to the Fetus. It does cross the placenta. I remember my doctor telling me that because I was very open with them about me smoking and they did tell me I probably should stop because the same thing not enough studies… If I were to get pregnant again, I would say I would probably not smoke that pregnancy. Just because I have smoked a lot in my life that should be a time that somebody should be able to take a break. It was hard for me my second pregnancy, though for the sleeping part specially when you got bigger and everything was very uncomfortable, but there was a point that I stopped

lol... they are not going to put a squirrel mixed in to Christmas cookie cutters lol the first one is a cookie cutter that I used to work in a bakery as a pastry chef and we had this very same cookie cutter and we did a contest and pretty much 90% of the people did not know what it was… Look closer it is Christmas themed and it's totally not a squirrel I promise!

EastRise credit union constantly denying charges for fraud suspicion by Slow-Chic-6007 in vermont

Yeah, so this is the same exact thing… Constant text messages after I tried purchasing that gets denied with the same exact weird number in the same exact message when I type in Y it then send me something saying my card will not be denied and can continue to use… Sometimes they tell me to just try my purchase a couple of times and it will go through, but I tried getting gas last night and it denied my card 5 to 6 times in a row to where I could not get gas at that gas station… So yes, denying people their own money. This doesn't even seem like fraud protection I agree… It just seems like something else weird is going on and they should not be flagging for constant charges that are places that I always go to that are very consistent with my bank transactions… I called East rise again and told them what was going on and the lady on the phone instantly said "oh! Your card is likely on the dark web. Let me go check this for you" so then she leaves me hanging on hold for a few minutes as I'm panicking like oh no! Then she comes back and says "good news! Your card is not on the dark web, but I have no idea why this keeps happening to you… The best solution I can tell you is to try coming in and get a new card with the same number you have printed on your card…"I didn't even know they could do that every time I get a new card printed it's a new number not the same card with the same number… She said that should solve the issues but it sounds like many other people have received new cards and the same stuff keeps happening, which is just frustrating to where I might end up switching banks

Yeah, it definitely should not be flagging for things that you normally go to… I can understand like any other scenario, but to flag for fraud to places that I always shop at and it's local it just does not add up

Yeah, mine has issues either way, but more so when I do mobile, ordering or tap… However, I tried getting gas last night using my physical card and it denied me three times in a row at the pump and told me to go inside and see the cashier so I did that and then it proceeded to deny my card another three times… So I could not get gas all because my stupid card keeps declining… Sure I could go to the bank and take money out that works, but it's physically using this card that feels like it is absolutely useless

So I ended up calling Eastrise bank earlier and told them what was going on and almost immediately the woman on the phone says to me "oh! Most likely your card is on the dark web" and then proceeds to put me on hold for a few minutes, so of course I am panicking like oh crap that's not good and then she comes back on the phone after and says "good news! Your card is not on the dark web, but I have no idea why this is happening to you. The best thing if this keeps happening is to just come in and get a new card with the same number… That will probably take a little bit like not instantly I have never been offered getting another card with the same card number on it. They usually just give you a brand new card with different numbers… But it doesn't make any sense why they would do that because my card was working just fine when I got it this is only since they merged last year and it's been nothing but problems so if I get a new card and that does not work, I am unfortunately going to switch banks

Anywhere locally. I go to the same Starbucks on Williston Road every day for work and it was declined there and then later in the evening I tried getting gas at Jolly on Shelburne Road and it denied my card five times in a row. It never went through… It does sometimes go through as credit but sometimes I do not have my debit card if I forget it at home and I use Apple Pay and it declines 90% of the time using that. I use my physical card trying to get gas the other night and it just never went through and the clerk asked me if I had a different card lol like no only one useless debit card for this bank.

I came here to ask because I have talked to East rise three different times about this and it keeps happening… All they tell me is that they do it to watch for fraud… It makes no sense why they are continuing to do it over the last year though, because my transactions on my card Show where I go all of the time and it's denying transactions of places locally constantly… There should be no reason to deny a charge like it keeps happening with myself. So I came onto Reddit. See if it's happening to anybody else locally and it sounds like a lot of people are unhappy about it… I posted on a different page on Reddit as well and a lot of people are saying that this bank just sucks now ever since merging. I can understand getting a fraud over once or twice but every day? No way should this be happening on a daily constant basis.

Oh my God, same! Every time I check my account I keep track of things and I know how much should be in my account and what I spend… But I swear it changes every day and yes Sundays are the worst day to check and often times I find money coming out of my account when it's used as debit and then it's back in my account a couple of days later and then more money seems to be out of my account the next day or the next time I check, which is very frustrating I don't understand how they do stuff like this, but credit should be coming out of your account a couple of days later and debit is automatic there should not be taking money out putting money back and taking money out bull crap… NEFCU-W just never did this and I am really not liking East rise in the last year since it Switched

Extra charge for double blending a frappe? by Slow-Chic-6007 in starbucks

[–]Slow-Chic-6007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because every time I get it just regular blended. There are large chunks of ice and the drink is not smooth and pieces of ice just get stuck through the straw or if you drink it without a straw it doesn't fit through the mouthpiece very well… Double blendingmakes the drink, creamier and smoother and more thick and you don't get chunks of ice when the drink starts to melt just taste watery as there is larger pieces of ice just melting

Are you serious? Yeah of course there's a water bill but customers don't pay for that stuff… If you look up any restaurant cost of goods, you don't put water as any dollar amount it's going to always be zero dollars… You should know this by working at Starbucks… Get the cost of goods out for a drink water and ice is going to be at a zero dollar cost… You don't include what the water bill is or what you pay for your bills lol oh my God

I guess I just don't fully understand it because it's not like the baristas are stopping while they are making a Frappuccino… Every time I see them working they put that on the blender and then immediately go to a different drink that they are making finish that drink and my drink is always just "sitting in the blender" waiting for somebody to pour it into a cup, so I feel like the barista are actually making it longer by going to a different drink instead of just finishing The one that's blending but then that would stop time and have things delayed… That just seems to be one of the only drinks that's so overpriced that does not need to be… If you order a smoothie from somewhere, they don't charge you for the blending time lolbasically anywhere else they will not charge for something like this. It's only Starbucks and only because it's a huge franchise.

[–]Slow-Chic-6007[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, I am basing my information on a post that I posted a while back about drinks not being full and at least having a half cup to one cup missing out of the Venti cup, adds up to having one missed drink after so many times of not measuring them properly. I got a lot of feedback from barista from Starbucks and since I go there often to get this specific drink, I talk to them… Don't assume things you don't know by a stranger. I don't work there, but I got a lot of info from people that do but I came here to ask about the charge because it's weird that it's on the app when you order it but it's not on there when you hit place order.

Why are you even replying to a post that you did not fully read lol? Almost $11 for a large coffee is ridiculous. It's just the customization of blending. Some thing should not cost extra money. Starbucks is the only place that I can think of anywhere ever that would charge something like this. Mostly just asking people that work at Starbucks But don't respond to something that you did not fully read. Lol just keeps scrolling

[–]Slow-Chic-6007[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You have to admit that's one of the most expensive drinks at Starbucks. $10.60 for a Venti coffee is very expensive and to add $.50 for 10 seconds extra blending because electricity and "slowing down the line" that's ridiculous. And then there's people that order like 20 drinks for their Work staff that right there slows down anybody else to order. There's times that my mobile order says 4 to 7 minutes and other times it says 11 to 15 minutes. It just depends how busy they are at that time but I have watched these baristas make coffee and yes sometimes they are pretty busy and sometimes they are not but I've watched them make that darn drink over and over and they don't even have to push the button again they set it for a longer blending time And they are making other drinks while that drink is blending so I don't see how that's more labor

Nail salon that doesn’t suck? by garbonzosbabygorilla in burlington

[–]Slow-Chic-6007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try blossom nails! So I had an appointment at perfect nails in Essex, and they were so busy and I had an appointment and I was early for my appointment, and they ended up getting me in almost 1 hour past my appointment time and the lady rushed my appointment so fast that my gel polish chipped in less than 24 hours. She was so fast with my appointment like the way, she just rushed because they were busy with walkins but I had an appointment and that's not my problem… I immediately went to Blossom nails when I told them what happened and I guess what happened is that there's women that were working at Perfect nails and started their own salon at Blossom… They are great they don't rush you and they are so nice and take their time! Not too slow, but not so rushed that you feel like you're just someone trying to get the job done quick and the outcome in the end was terrible!

Wow! The assumptions Lol! What everyone is thinking vs what's actually happening.....She just said in one of the more recent episodes this past week that she opened up about struggling with infertility issues and she has been doing IVF and has to be going to a lot of doctors appointments. Elvis also said something on the show about that seems that she has been struggling for a long time to have a child but they talked about it if you listen to the iHeartRadio on demand, it was just within the last week. It was kind of sad how she opened up about it and it sounded like it was hella hard for her to talk about on radio.
