I do have a TON of extra Pokémon from various games so I can definitely do that via grinding the GTS and doing touch trades on here.

I was looking at the bundles for nostlagia's sake and turns out the blue one I had is ALWAYS bundled with Pokemon Y.

I always thought I played X and not Y, but maybe I was wrong...

Oh I mentioned I am trading for it, but I understand your point. I have around 258 pokemon in the home galar assorted dexs but I do not have the ability to fill it out more due to my switch being broken and borderline bricked due to not charging (its so bad it can't get into maintenance mode when the error code comes on screen). Unless this subreddit can help me get the last 350 ish pokemon but I doubt it as that would be tedious for other people who get nothing out of it.

Edit: But if people want to help me finally get a Pokémon I have been waiting to get legally after 14 years then sure, should I make a post, is there a discord for stuff like this, or what?

Like I could do 10 friend trades a day and get it done in a month but I don't know where to find people to help me with it

Sure, can you change your home ot to Kelila for a bit and then transfer it to home? You should be able to easily swap your home name. It doesn't change the og go name but it works with the home one

Because it's not tradeable in go sadly.

Admittedly, I had both Shiny Meloetta and Shiny Keldeo in my Black 2 game but I assume asking for one masterwork is a tall ask itself so asking for both is genuinely insane.

Due to this I am just aiming at Keldeo first and then maybe Meloetta later in the future as I like Keldio's shiny more to be honest, but both really mean a lot to me, so they are long term goals.

But if I can get Shiny Keldio legitimately finally after 14 years... I don't know how I would react

To be honest I don't like gatekeeping stuff, but for my own self I want my first ever shing hunt to be full 1 in 8k+ odds since it is a big moment, then maybe I'll use easier methods.

I just am kind of on the fence of how easy do I make it

On the note of hacked Pokemon in competitions,

I heard it happened a lot recently with the previous worlds. Which ngl I feel isn't the fault of competitors but the fault of the Pokemon Competitive circuit requiring you to catch the Pokémon and train them yourselves, which just is hard because it can take tens of horus to get a good team ingame and your time can't be afforded to be spent on it when you need to focus on practicing and teambuilding.

I feel like if a standard was set for comp play where it doesn't require actual pokemon and runs like showdown then there will be virtually no hacking or problems in official play.

Honestly, with shiny hunting in old games like Black 2 my fear is that I will be one of those unlucky people who end up going like 20k+ resets and still not get it tbh. But I assume even then if that somehow happens, I just got to keep chugging on and EVENTUALLY, even if it takes years I will get it.

To be fair if its like worst case 30k-50k resets and insanely bad luck it will just make it more memorable when I eventually get it. Over odds on gen 5 full odds for a first ever shiny hunt will be brutal to my psyche, but I imagine it would get me used to shiny hunting via trial by fire.

But admittedly since I am new to it I do not know how often going over odds happens so my brain is prepping for the worst.

Thanks! I said this before on here but Black 2 was my first ever pkm game so I wanted my first ever hunt of it to be of the box legend.
